★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always fast and great service. The staff are helpful in English and French. The lines look long, but they move relatively fast. All the check-out ailes are working as well. So it makes the whole experience easy and fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in for an oil change and when I got it back (hours later) the seats were stained with grease and the front bumper had a paint scratch the size of a football...
When I confronted the manager, he defended his employees and denied everything.
Will never do business again with this company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If it was possible I would leave a 0 starts review on this one. Absolutely disgusting, rude and unacceptable behavior from the staff towards me. Me being a regular customer of this store for many years, this was the worst experience ever.
On 2021/05/30 I came with my wife to this Canadian Tire looking for an outdoor chair. After browsing for a bit, I was able to find the one that I liked and what I thought for a good price. However, when I brought it to the cash register, I was told it was around 60$CAD. I politely explained to cashier that the displayed price for this model is 22.99$ CAD. I thought as per Consumer Protection Act the item had to be sold to me for that price or at least discounted. I was sent me back to the shelf for the price verification with the floor clerk. Over there, the floor clerk, in a very rude and aggressive form, started arguing with me and taking off the price labels and claiming it to be not the store's mistake for wrong pricing of the product. He started telling me maybe it was another customer misplacing it. However, it was a huge heavy box on the upper shelf, so I could not possibly imagine how could that happen. I tried to explain to the clerk that I thought the price was 22.99$ CAD and I should get for that price, but he was relentless. I decided to stop trying to prove my point to this employee and just leave the store. I think that this Canadian Tire employee's behavior was unprofessional and inappropriate. I was extremally disappointed with this situation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My four star review below still stands but I want to add recent experiences: I bought a stationary exercise bike and assembled it (challenging) only to discover there was no onboard tracking features. If you want to track speed, distance, calories etc, you need to subscribe and pay a monthly fee to the bike manufacturer. There was no disclosure of this on the packaging. Canadian Tire says I’m stuck with it.
Now a positive review: an employee named Majd was extremely helpful yesterday when making a last minute purchase.
Four stars for offering frequent deals but 2.5 for surly staff in auto service department, and for taking much longer than promised

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a Redline bmx style bike for my kid which broke after barely being used for 2 months.
Problem: Bottom bracket shot/out of frame. This part is supposed to last the lifetime of the bike
Seems to be a common problem with this model according to other buyers reviews.
Brought it in for repair at CT Chateauguay, first guy says it’s covered and it will be fixed then a few days later a second guy calls me and says “it’s not covered”!
That’s how CT honours the warranty for the products they sell.
Low quality products and bad customer service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got a 20$ off coupon for oil change and called them to book an appointment but unfortunately they were full till the end of the expiration date of the coupon and I explained them that I really need it till the end of this date so they were so nice and helped me by finding a cancellation and booking the appointment for me just one day before the end of the promotion. So I really appreciate it and recommend Canadian tire garage. Helpful and knowledgeable staff and great service!
