I was charged twice for the same room, after hours and hours of being on hold and trying to explain simple match…1 night = 1 charge. 1 night does not = 2 charges. They finally comprehend this grade 1 math and send me an email stating they have sent me a credit on my card. NOPE!!! Apparently 1 night now = 3 CHARGES pssstttt…. Credits have a minus in front of it. Back on hold again for hours more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel was ok. Room was adequate. A bit lacking in atmosphere. Very large lobby/reception space with nothing going on. Our fridge had leftovers in it from the previous guests which made us question the cleanliness of the room overall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were treated with courtesy and made to feel welcome from all of the staff. I had 2 rooms reserved for my husband and I and the 2nd for my daughter and friend. The front desk staff was super helpful and when I had a problem with my room (keypad battery had expired) an amazing maid on the 7th floor notified maintenance and 15 minutes later, I was in my room.. Thanks!
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Chinatown and easy to access old Montreal. Room was very clean and comfortable and they kindly gave us late checkout! A wonderful family vacation stay, definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Staff are professional and kind. The hotel layout is very easy to understand. The location is absolutely perfect for tourists and visitors to Montreal. It's very easy to access surrounding hotpots both as a transit rider and a driver. Negative: There does not seem to be good sound insulation within the rooms. From my personal experience, you can clearly hear doors slam and you will cringe from constantly hearing the squeaky wheels of a laundry cart.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The front desk who checked us out was super friendly. He recommended we don't drive back to the US during rush time and extended the pass 2 additional hours. Location is great & 30 seconds from the Subway. Negative: Not a big deal, but safe in the room 1 shampoo is not enough for a couple for 2 nights No shower gel No complimentary water Even though it's fine not to have these, but it's nice to have them

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a tourist who wants to be able to walk to most of the many beautiful attractions in Montreal, this is the place to be. It is in Chinatown, downtown. The place does not miss a beat of adding to the magic of Montreal.
You have underground parking. We paid 203 CAD for 8 days. Very private place which I love. From the lifts from the parking area, you can get straight to your room. Cleaning staff were friendly and efficient. You have 24/7 supply of ice from a machine on the entry level of each floor and a vending machine for soda as well! The hotel is right beside a street with some of the best Chinese food in town.
All around hassle free stay from reservation to the end of our stay.
I loved our stay that we decided that this would be the same hotel we shall book on our next trip back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just wanted to let you know what amazing customer service you have at your hotel. We had rented a room with you through a third-party seller and an error was made on the date. Your supervisor Christine did an incredible job in helping us to fix this error. She went above and beyond to deal with this matter. She figured out what needed to be done. I am a small business owner myself and really know that it doesn't matter how big your business is, what matters is giving the best customer service. You have a fantastic employee and I commend you on hiring such a valuable person in your hotel business.
We had a wonderful stay at your hotel and will be sure to book directly with you the next time! Your rooms were clean and spacious, the beds super comfortable with wonderful sheets, and the location could not be better (right between old Montreal and the downtown! Loved the lobby with the asian theme water and fish. I will be sure to book there when I return to Montreal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing but positive words to say about our recent stay at the Holiday Day Centreville Montreal. It was reasonably priced for the time we stayed (during the week in early spring). Things that were an absolute win about this property:
First, The room was immaculate—in COVID times this is most appreciated. Second, being steps from Montreal's Chinatown meant we were spoiled by tasty, affordable and easy to-go meal options. Third, we knew we were close to Old Town, but were surprised to discover we were also one street over from the bus that takes you to the airport and the Metro station by the Convention Center.
Finally, the staff were absolutely lovely. The gentleman at the front desk was patient when I conversed in (still learning) French, and was super helpful and accommodating when we checked in and out of our room.
I've already told several friends who are debating trips to Montreal to consider this hotel as their base. Thanks again for a safe and positive stay!
