La dame a dit que c'était Japan Rail Way qui choisit le taux de l'échange, au cas où la modification du taux de change entre le temps que l'argent est échangé entre l'agence et Japan cause une perte d'argent pour l'agence de voyage... À l'ère du XXie siècle et de l'électronique, ca me semble plutôt douteux! Achetez votre passe en ligne.
Our Japan Rail Pass cost $ 30 more than our friend bought online ($ 350 vs $ 382). The lady said it was Japan Rail Way who chooses the exchange rate, in case the change in the exchange rate between the time the money is exchanged between the agency and Japan causes a loss of money for the travel agency ... In the era of the twenty-first century and electronics, it seems rather dubious! Buy your pass online.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called to asked if I could go buy a Japan Rail Pass and they said to just drop by. I arrive around 3 pm and a lady tells me I need to come back in 30 mins because the person responsible for the JR pass left. I come back 30 mins later and she is still not there. I wait another 45 mins before they can actually sell me a JR pass. I do not recommend. Over 1h30 wasted. Also, as other reviews say they sell the JR pass more expensive than anywhere else online. If you have time to buy online and wait for delivery do that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't use for Japan Rail Pass. Today's exchange rate was $100 JPY to 1.20 CAD, they charged our exchange at 100 JPY to 1.31 CAD. My friend bought the pass using an online website for $350 for the 7 day pass, mine cost $382. I did not know this until I got home and verified, unfortunately they say it is non-refundable. I wonder who pockets the difference?
