TK and his staff were very accommodating with our girls hockey team. Very pleasant and professional! We had a small issue with our room and they made it right for our family! Was close to our rink which made it nice for all!

Centrally located downtown and close to lots of amenities. Rooms are a little dated, but the rest of the hotel is recently renovated. Parking is a little tight and you have to pay extra for it, but easy to get in and out of. If you want to stay downtown it's definitely a good option. I've stayed here several times and will be back again.

The gentleman who was working the front desk was so impressively nice, I had to remark to my wife that I’ve never been greeted at a hotel like that. Our stay was good. Grand daughter made use of hot tub. Check out was just as pleasant as check in. Free breakfast was good, especially the coffee. Would definitely stay again. Also great location.

I stay at this hotel regularly and appreciate the reasonable cost and location. The breakfast offers excellent variety and choice, and the rooms are comfortable. The only real concern is noise (mostly due to location), but they offer sleep kits to help offset that.

I am so disappointed with the booking experience for this hotel. When booking for Edmonton the local number went directly to a reservation desk in Florida. They were unable to match the room rate I found on line of $79. But gave me a different rate because I was an AMA member, not because we were coming for a medical treatment. I had also informed them that we were bringing a service dog with us, that was why we booked with them they were pet friendly. Upon check out there was another $25 day fee, that I was not informed about. We stayed 4 days the manager noticed and contacted us and lowered our rate to $79. We also had to pay $10 for parking and had been told there was underground parking. The staff at the location were great, they could not change anything as it was their booking desk. When I was booking this room I was also transferred to a person who tried to upsell me to buying vacations that they had packages for hotels in Vegas etc. I am so grateful that I did not buy into that. I will avoid doing business in the future with any hotel affiliated with IHG group. So disappointed.

We enjoyed the stay at the hotel from November 13-17. We arrived and our room was ready to go. Our view was the south side and on the fifth floor. The first thing we noticed was that the washroom was very organized and clean, enough toilet paper. The negative would be that the TV had quite a bit of channels but not Sportsnet. TSN was fine but Sportsnet was not available. The breakfast was very good, the bacon not that oily, very clean breakfast area, well organized and enjoyable. The fitness room is small but it is good for two or even three people. Two treadmills and a bit of space to do other things. The swimming pool was warm, the hot tub was a bit dirty and the maintenance guy worked on it. The only bad remark is that the gym opens at 9am and you have to go to reception so they can program your card and by the time you go to the gym or pool in the second floor, the time starts to consume and it is for 45 minutes but you can stay longer if the next person allows you to stay. The gym should be open from 7am to 9pm because it is late to start going to the gym. especially if the last day you want to use they gym or hot tub to relax, at 9am is rushing because by 12pm you have to sign out. Other than that, the staff was wonderful.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. We booked through the IHG Hotel and specifically asked for a pet friendly room. We were categorically told that the pet fee was 25.00 per night per room with no specification on the number of the pets (we have two). We have been hotels for some time waiting for our new home away from Edmonton, after two home invasions, so we know the drill. When we arrived the front desk manager checked me in. As it turns out put us into a non-pet friendly room. We did not learn of this until this morning. Shame on him. Every day we were current with the room charges. Even one day when they over charged. Then yesterday, there was an increase in the room rate that did not agree with the website. A 50 dollar increase. At the same time I asked for a change in bedding from the front desk manager and let him know we would be staying. This morning, I spoke early to the young lady at the front desk that I needed to do some banking and paying by 9:30. No issue. When I returned to pay, the front desk manager demanded that I leave by noon that they were over booked. The front desk manager then stated that yesterday afternoon he told me that we needed to be out by noon. I was with clients for all the previous afternoon and evening. When I returned I did not speak with any front desk staff and went straight to bed. Shame on him again. During the same conversation, the front desk manager, stated that he visited the room when vacant and stated that there was dog feces everywhere. The room was never vacant. My significant other is a victim of stalking and has become an agoraphobe. She was in the room at all times. Any accidents from the dogs was cleaned up immediately and any accidents occurred on the concrete of the balcony. Never did we they allowed to accumulate. This tells me that the front desk manager was either a creeper or is challenged in the art of veracity. The front desk manager went on to try to make fraudulent charges on my credit card for an additional 25 per night for the additional pet. Fortunately, I was smart enough to lock my card. The front desk manager then has refused me our room deposit. We cleaned the room thoroughly and left it neat and tidy. My belief is that the entire exercise is an example in fraud. I called the front desk manager on his statements. He then had us thrown out into the rain. It is my belief that he should be dismissed with all prejudice.

Stayed for 5 nights in a standard double queen room. The room was fairly average, ours had a balcony which was nice. They have a vanity separate from the sink in the bathroom which is great for getting ready; putting on make up, the plugs there for the hair dryer were quite annoying though, loose so it keeps falling out. Bath tub in ours was average, older and shallow, so not ideal for a bath. Bedding was really nice, white and pillowy. They have a small hot tub and pool which was enjoyable and not busy during the weekdays. Oh yeah, one more thing. It has a weird smell! Mostly in the lobby, but throughout as well. It must be the cleaner they use, but it pulls memories of a baby changing table. We weren't the only ones to think that either as we consulted a couple others staying. One of them said it always smells like that, as a regular patron, but that you get used to it. We did for the most part. Everyone we met of the staff was very helpful and friendly!
