We had tickets for the Dec 27, 11:30 am bus from Edmonton Inn to downtown Saskatoon. -43 with a wind chill and they had us lined up to get on the bus. They blocked the door initially so we couldn't get on. Then a fellow approaches the first person in the line up asking "where are you going"? They answer "Saskatoon" or whatever. He grabs their luggage and saunters over to the underbelly of the bus to place the luggage then returns to the 2nd person in line. Repeat. It's -43 and probably 1/3 of the riders are Sr. Citizens. Way too long out in that cold. In one of the small towns we stopped at there was a man with a walker. I thought he'd be froze to the walker by the time he got on. Twice the driver pulled over to the side of the road. I could see no reason why. We were dropped off downtown saskatoon in the evening. Again same temp as Edmonton. We stood on the sidewalk freezing waiting for our ride. When it came we ran up the block a ways and there was a Rider Express office open where people could have stayed warm had anyone had the decency to tell them. The return trip, again frigid temps, we asked the agent who issued our baggage tags if they would announce when the bus was boarding. He said oh yes they would. They didn't and I couldn't sit beside my 12 year old granddaughter. Also why do they say they have WIFI? They don't.

Both females working yesterday were extremely rude. I absolutely have no idea how they have never been monitored or audited. I am a nurse and work with many people on a regular basis. Never in my years of working have I ever encountered two women who think it’s okay to go back and forth with their customers. I have had all sorts of patients. Sick, angry, confused etc and NO matter what have I ever felt the need to go back and fourth with a patient. I know that once I am in uniform as long as there is no form of ANY abuse from the patient i would not act the way these two females were today. The last words the one women working there had said to me was β€œYou can leave with a smile” and when I explained I lost a family member her response was β€œI lost my dad and people die all the time” after I’ve informed her this is not the way to handle a customer. I believe no one should ever tolerate abuse from customers BUT what about what customers tolerate? Imagine these ladies speaking to YOUR mother or father this way. How would you feel? I feel as if my SKIN colour was different maybe I would have been treated differently maybe with more respect. But from the beginning it was as if she knew to automatically act this way towards me. I noticed how they were also speaking to another customer. She was taller, white, blonde hair and just as soon as she came in the smile and body language she was given from the two female workers was just heart breaking to see because of the difference. A co-worker I’ve mine had also gone through the same thing last year. In the end whether this company Red Arrow located downtown Edmonton does something about this or not it’s completely up to them. Leaving a review so people can see or even compare with their own experience.

I always have a great experience with Red Arrow. The buses are always clean, the seats are comfortable, lots of leg room and they choose really good movies too. Thank you always Tanya

I have no idea where they got the pictures of the buses from, because the ones my girlfriend and I rode in were probably 20 years older than the images, with small seats. Drive was nice and quick, drink/snack selection was fine, but a not insignificant portion of the travelers are coughing and hacking, and there appeared to be no effort on part of staff to not turn the bus into a super-spreader on wheels. Between that and the high prices, I don't believe I will use this service again. Maybe for half of what tickets currently cost, but it's honestly a bit insulting to pay such high prices, plus fuel surcharge and fees, for a vehicle that is only the tiniest bit more comfortable than a normal city bus. Disappointed, but not surprised. Edit: Confirmed! We have both since tested positive for Covid-19. Thank you, Red Arrow!

I went to Calgary from Edmonton. It was a pleasant ride, lots of room in the seat. The staff at the Edmonton office were very friendly and had no issue answering my questions since it was the first time using their services. I would definitely take the bus again if I needed to. BTW, our driver was a very professional person yet very kind and looked out for the interest of his passengers.

Great company great service. Prices jump quite high though in the last year and a half almost double that is. It was pretty empty on the bus on my way to Calgary. Headphone jack didn't work in my seat so thank God it did on the one beside me but the movie wasn't played until someone said that it was still sitting on pause.
