★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food, top-notch service, great atmosphere. Came in for Saturday brunch and the place was full, but still had a nice cozy atmosphere and not too loud to enjoy a good conversation. Chicken Avocado salad was very tasty, and the full chicken breast and healthy serving size filled me up just right. Tried some of my dad's Corned Beef Hash and it was unreal. Service was prompt, very friendly, and professional - server was at our table within 60 seconds to offer coffee, orders were taken promptly, and coffees and waters kept full. We also loved that the place had a nice buzz but was also comfortable and relaxing. Thank you Heron Rock staff for the great brunch and quality family time! I can confidently recommend this place and I'll be back for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome experience. I started with 1/2 dozen oysters and hubby had clam chowder. The starters were just as great as our steak dinners. Our server Jay rocked it. Definitely coming back. Returning will consist of a Sunday Prime Rib dinner, one day.
We've been in Victoria for a few months and seldom dined out but loved this place.

The kitchen continues to shine with tasteful innovative creations and the whole atmosphere is genial, comfortable, and inviting.!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a lovely place with fantastic staff and great & tasty food. I had the freshly cooked mussels, they were amazing, afterwards the warm Reuben sandwich which I also enjoyed. The bread pudding was delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heron Rock Bistro is a really great place to dine in and enjoy a meal. My wife and I visited from the Edmonton area and we were very glad that we found this place. If you are not familiar with a certain menu item, it may come as a surprise, so make sure you know what you are ordering first. I had the reuben sandwich with a house salad, which was spectacular! The dinning experience was nice and the staff are accommodating. Thank you Heron Rock Bistro staff for the wonderful experience:) We hope to visit again one day in the near future.
