★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not at all impressed with the shrimp, scallops and onion rings. The taste was just off and the onion rings were too thin with almost no onion.
The young lady who took care of us was very sweet and efficient. Shame the food isn't great.
That little box cost $20+tax
Not a good value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried to go to our regular fish and chips spot and they were rude we left and ended up here. Food was far better than our last visit service was excellent portions plentiful and price was great. Will head back perhaps our new usual

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always great food and portion size. The solarium area of the restaurant could use a slight face lift as the paint was peeling off and the skylights could use a power wash after the winter. Food and customer service was great.

Place was very clean...great accessibility for my mobility restricted mother..had the haddock and chips special for only 10 bucks! Great portions.. awesome fries and coleslaw and the fish was cooked perfectly! The waitress was very polite and efficient. We were promptly served and highly satisfied with everything. If back that way again we would certainly return. Highly recommend this business as we were all very satisfied! Hats off to the proprietor!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in for an early breakfast and took advantage of their $1.99 breakfast special and it was enough for me. Although known for their fish and chips they do a decent breakfast as well.
All of our local restaurants have been hit hard during Co-Vid 19, Please get out and support our local restaurants

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t remember visiting a Halibut House fish and chips before and this is the first one I did and I am glad. Not only everything we ordered came perfect but what completely blew me away is the interior decor. It almost feels like a giant greenhouse with matured Banana, bamboos, lemon and Guava plants, which has very soothing effect on you. I have never seen a guava plant that too laden with ripe fruits in this part of the world. Owner is definitely a plant lover and have incorporated it in the decor of the restaurant, Kudos!
If there were 10 stars available I would have happily given it to this location!!
