We’ve been to so many local restaurants while waiting for our appliances that dining out became a chore. But NOT at the HYLAND. There is enough background noise of chatter, dishes, and laughs that you can have a private conversation and not feel awkward. It would be great for a first date ( NOT a romantic proposal ), a business lunch, even a family intervention, it’s like I said ITS A GREAT GO TO SPOT My family has eaten a lot of different meals from a very large menu. Everyone trying each other’s and ordering differently on return trips. The only thing better than the food is the staff. They are ALL friendly and willing to converse with you, time permitting. Sadly we don’t know anyones name. So today we introduced ourselves to TANYA ( Tina ? ). SORRY I’m NOT GOoD with names. The only thing more sunny than my sunny side up eggs was TANYA’s demeanour. It was a pleasure meeting her. That said it’s been a pleasure with ALL HYLAND’s staff - I just don’t know there names, but we will ! See you soon … Thank Q Grant / Michelle

W	Walter Upton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly ,courteous staff. The food was great. Had their breakfast poutine and it was awesome . The portions are more then worth the price. Definitely a must go to place if you are in Port Perry.

We sat with empty coffee cups for most of the meal, and with dirty plates on our table for at least 20 minutes while we waited for the bill. We probably won't be back any time soon.
