Extremely slow service. Ordered one appetizer, which my family had to wait for 45 minutes, and our mains came after another 45 minutes of waiting. Our server seemed rattled like she took on more tables that she can handle, hostesses stood by the doors chatting instead of providing support to their servers. Due to the long wait times between courses, my family had finished their drinks, and refills didnt arrive until my family was well into their main meals. Extremely disappointing experience.

My friends wanted to visit this place because of the horror stories and it being a haunted house after doing some reviews I was sitting at the iconic table 13. Read up the stories and you'll see I'm a firm believer but I have never seen any paranormal activity I'm just a foodie and I went to eat. After reading the reviews the food I decided to get chicken wings which was wing night on a Monday and a burger with a caesar salad my buddies ordered a side of mozzarella sticks we shared that The wings were pretty good your typical bar pub type chicken wings I got the fire hall sauce wings. The burger was actually very good it was a special with jalapenos onions and it just hit the spot Caesar salad was good. Service was good just a tad late on delivering the refills as my friend was waiting for his mayonnaise and we finished our burgers before the Mayo came. Overall very good experience it is a restaurant in an old house we drove 45 minutes to get there worth the try if you're in the area. I love these little hidden gems

This is a pretty neat old building. We went for a Mother's Day lunch/brunch. A couple of people in it group weren't happy with their home fries. I had a Reuben with a side Caesar. It was pretty good. Or waitress was very pleasant. Overall a pretty good experience for me.

The wonderful staff accomodated a last minute reservation request, clearly sated time and seating options. Upon arrival we were greeted with a friendly welcome, we were seated quickly, drink orders were taken and delivered in timely manner. We were given time to read the menu and make our decisions. Refills were offered for our drinks, water was asked for, awesome! The food was hot and delicious the portions were plentiful. As we departed we were thanked for our time and for giving them our business.

A repurposed house, with a lovely outside patio with great food. We were lucky to have a sunny day for a girls lunch. I had a yummy portobello mushroom sandwich with goat cheese on French bread with a delicious house salad. ( wish I’d taken a pic) The chicken quesadilla was also noted to be good. Friendly staff and lots of parking on street or closeby at Foodland. Port Perry is a cute little town on a big lake - Lake Scugog. Lovely day trip from Toronto.

Really enjoyed my lunch today at Jester’s Court. I had the goats cheese burger which was really tasty. You could tell the burger itself was fresh which made a big difference. The club sandwich was also very nice and available as a gluten free option for my wife. The liver and onions was also reportedly very nice as was the portobello panini. Overall, very tasty and enjoyable! Nice little spot in Port Perry!

Overall a nice restaurant and would return. Minus 1 star for a Classic Burger that was on the dry side and asked to omit ketchup but the burger was delivered with ketchup. Since it didn't also include mayo, less of a concern. Having said all that, it was a nice tasting burger and the fries were stellar. GF enjoyed the Braised Lamb Curry although she wished it had more lamb but recognizes it's more or less a standard portioning. Wait staff welcoming and attentive.
