Awesome to have a Habitat ReStore in Fergus!! This location is the best one I've ever been to... large showroom, lots of great items that seem to turn over quickly (so buy it when you see it!!), and very friendly and helpful staff/volunteers.

They will lie to your face. Deb, the manager, told me that a stove I bought from her but didn’t fit properly β€œcould be returned for an in-store credit” as they couldn’t issue a refund because there was nothing wrong with it. (Which is totally understandable) So I loaded the stove back up into a truck and drove an hour to come drop it off and do an instore exchange as I was promised. I got there, and the lady at the desk told me she could issue a credit right away for a later time or I could browse first and decide what item we’d like to exchange for. After a few minutes of browsing, Deb informed me that she would in fact not be honouring what she said and that I could only exchange for another appliance... a huge detail she neglected to mention on the phone. When I reminded her of what she told me, she denied it and said she β€œdidn’t actually have to do ANYthing for me”, and that she never said I could bring it back for credit. Extremely rude and untrue. Deb, I don’t mind if you couldn’t take the stove back, I understand company policies. But when you tell someone something, you need to honour it. You can’t weasel your way out of it because of a technicality you forgot to mention. Take responsibility and don’t lie to customers.

Well-organized seller of good quality donated household goods including a great selection of dining tables and chairs, dressers, bed frames etc. Renovation materials range from the proverbial kitchen sink to complete kitchen cupboard sets, plus floor tiles, tools, hardware, lighting and appliances. Well worth a visit!

Okay hands down my favourite treasure hunting place, volunteers are fantastic. Prices are not greedy and absolutely a bargain. I would feel guilty if I didn't share this. If you are a Mom like me trying to stretch every dollar this is your first stop to shop.

I'm giving it a 3 stars, woulda been 5 stars a while ago. But in recent times, it seems that there's an antique dealer that's working there that are like jacking up the prices nowthesedays. It used to be really really good, like really good, better than Guelph (because their pricing was terrible but Fergus is following the same.) Honestly though, since they did that renovations and sold their portions to Bulk Barn, it's ridiculously overpriced. Yeah, stop thinking ANTIQUE MARKET AND FLEA MARKET prices. Habitat for Humanity, yeah, right, with the prices soaring and you expect us to shell out $50 for a doll house? LOL.
