I love having my benefits through group source. They pay claims faster than any other insurance company I've had and their app is really easy to use. I would definitely recommend them.

GroupSource has been the best benefits provider I’ve ever had worked with. They always respond in a timely manner, my claims are paid, and it’s a breeze to use their online system. I have always had a positive experience and highly recommend them for benefits!

I have been with this provider through my employer for about 2 years. It's been a constant headache of being given account/policy information and then having to go through multiple calls to have issues arising from resulting problems rectified (which they're often not). Save your employees the headache and go with a more reputable provider. You won't regret it.

The claim process and communication are terrible!!! There is no communication as to what they expect. Even when you call the agent says everything is good… denied! This is the worst insurance agency ever!

This insurance company is essentially a scam. The platform is full of technical glitches and you'll be fighting with them over every claim. Having been with GWL before them and Canada Life now it's incredible how bottom tier GroupSource is. Total nightmare.

If I could give zero stars I would. The customer service at this company is disgusting. I have been waiting nearly two months for my disability claim with still no resolution; despite their acknowledging they’ve had all my info for over a month. It took multiple phone calls and emails from both myself and my employer just to find out the name of my case manager. This was after being told twice she would β€œcall me in a few minutes” over a period of two days. I finally demand to speak with her, and she assures me (Maria) not to worry, it would all be taken care of, she had some help and it would be done by the end of the day; and the money would be there by the end of the day. Not to worry. Well, that was a week ago, and additional emails have gone unanswered yet again. In fact, they have never once acknowledge my existence. If I hadn’t called in the first place I would still be absolutely clueless. How long is reasonable to just sit around and wait…in radio silence, with all my expenses continuing?? Like.. 2 weeks? A month? 3 months? Where’s the line? They are only exacerbating the stress that I have in my life and it’s a mystery how they sleep at night. I couldnt.

Honestly they have some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced, especially being an insurance company. Every single claim I submit that isn't direct billed gets denied at least once before I can get approved. One they tell me and approve submissions with an invoice, but then the next they deny it saying they need a receipt. Then when I submit a receipt they deny that and say they need an invoice. The turn around time for their email responses is long and there is no good communication from them about what they require for submissions, they're explanations for denying claims are super vague and make no sense. They approve one thing for one employee and deny it for another. They're a super frustrating company to have to deal with. If you can, avoid, I would rather pay more for better quality customer service.
