From start to finish there was never a time where we were brushed off or made to feel like a burden. Very informative and know what to do for all situations. My questions were always answered in a clear and concise way while making suggestions where appropriate. I was able to upload and submit all my documents virtually as well as sign and verify ID etc., which is very nice in today’s Covid world. I would absolutely recommend to anyone who is looking for a trustee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When the Oil and Gas Bust happened in 2015 I was one of the 10,000's of thousands of contractors who suddenly had no source of income no unemployment insurance - nothing. I hung on for a while, sold what I could, hoping that the sector would turn around. Something told me that that the sector would never be the same again. I finally came to my senses before I was all the way down the rabbit hole of despair. I researched various options that I had available and realized I needed someone to talk to who had experience in the insolvency field. Freida Richer at Grant Thornton was exceptional. Freida helped me realize that there could be light at the end of the tunnel. We weighed the options of bankruptcy vs a consumer proposal. We chose the consumer proposal. That was the right choice for us. Five years on we only have a few months of payments to go and we will be totally debt free. Thank you Freida it has been a pleasure working with you and keep up the good work.
