I just wanted to share my experience with purchasing a new vehicle at Grande Prairie Wheaton and having Doug Robinson help me with the process. I have now bought two trucks from them and couldn't be happier with how I was helped and treated by Doug, he is actually the very reason that I returned to purchase the second truck. I live just over six hours away from GP and have dozens of dealers in between but still chose to return just to be able to have Doug help me. Doug exudes honesty and integrity and shows a genuine desire to put his customers first. He helped me in every way possible with my questions and was very knowledgeable and offered advise that I was unaware of but was quite appreciative to hear. Doug looks after his customers like he should and goes above and beyond in my opinion. Any issues that I have had I've just shot him a quick message and he calls me right away and gets it handled right away. Doug is in the upper echelon in the service he provides to his customers and I would recommend him to anyone looking for the best experience possible.

We recently had a great experience with Doug Robinson at Wheaton Chev Cadillac in Grande Prairie. He happily showed me the ins and outs of the car when I went in for a test drive and was more than accommodating when I had more questions. He guided us through getting the best for our dollar and then found the exact colour and seat configuration I wanted. He spent extra time, on the day of pick up, to go through the fine details and make sure I was comfortable with my new ride. He didn’t pressure at all and facilitated a very pleasant buying experience. We would happily recommend him to anyone in the market! Thanks Doug!

Dealt with Doug Robinson on my new Cadillac. He was very professional, very helpful and made the entire experience very easy from the time we walked through the door till the time we took delivery of our new vehicle. Top notch service and customer service….and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend Doug and the entire team at Wheaton if you are in the market of getting a new vehicle.

Service department is terrible! Rude and unwilling to check on things to see if it’s actually covered. I called another dealership to confirm. Yes it was covered and a nice explanation was given. This is not the first time a service department person was rude. I will use another dealership and never recommend this place. I did NOT ask for a rental, I did ask if it would be covered, and WITHOUT looking at the issue was automatically told it was NOT covered. I did go in without an appointment… to make an appointment, is that not how it works? This is a terrible dealership, will never go back, and will share the terrible customer service with the people I know.

I brought my truck in for a diagnosis on my transmission. They did it cost me $194. In the process they found some items that we covered by my third party warranty. Booked it in for a week later. Day comes for me to bring in the truck in. Come to find my apartment was never made. Then they call me an hour and a half later and say they can get my truck in. Fast forward 7 hours and it is time to pick up my truck. Now I have to pay for the deductible of my warranty. I am ok with that. It is what they try to do next that make me mad. They try to gouge me out of another 145$ for an oil change. They had to drain the oil pan to do the upper and lower gaskets and then wanted me to pay for the oil that they need to drain to do the work.

Generally I do my own oil changes but the guys in the quick lube bay were competent, efficient and overall fantastic to deal with.

Went into the service centre first to get the car repaired. The service desk got me in the same day as I was stranded which was awesome. High five to Tony for being accommodating. They did their best to fix the vehicle but to waiting on parts for 10 days I was unable to wait as hotel bills get expensive. I dealt with Don the fleet manager who was nothing but understanding and tried his best to get me back on the road so I could head home. I was able to get a new vehicle and out within a day and a half of getting the vehicle. Done went out of his way to ensure I could leave and get home safely. I appreciate all the help Tony, Don, and the team did to try and get me back on the road. I would recommend dealing with the dealership anytime. No hassles in sales, very honest, straight forward, and kept things straight without trying to sell into something lore expensive than needed. Top notch dealership.
