★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience at Gold and Diamond Buyers & Sellers! For our 25th anniversary, I wanted to buy a spectacular diamond ring for my wife. (To ensure another 25 beautiful years, haha!) Though I expected a typical jewelry pitch as you often encounter at places like Spence Diamonds, Micheal Hill, and People's, I didn't experience anything like that at this place. John and his team took the time, were very patient, let me figure it out myself, let me make my own decisions, but with excellent (no pushing) advice when I asked for it. Their 'Lab Grown Diamond Collection' is absolutely stunning. Yes, these diamonds are made in a lab... Nevertheless, we're talking about REAL diamonds. And they're huge! And they look absolutely amazing! Thank you John! The look on my wife's face was absolute priceless when I presented this three-stone diamond ring to her. (But I didn't have to take out a loan to afford it.) Fabulous place to shop for the most beautiful diamonds you can get in Calgary. Best bling for your buck!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Met with John today and had a very nice experience. He is very knowledgeable and took the time to educate me on the jewelry as well as providing me with a fair price for it. I will go back to him once I’ve had a chance to dig through my old jewelry again. I also plan on going to him for any future jewelry purchases as he has a large and beautiful selection for sale.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ John has a problems with follow thought with what he says he will do. when to sell a lot of rings and pearls... amount other items. He talked me into consignment. Which is ok but told me it was he would take a minor commission I have been a Finical advisor for 38 years I can do math - he takes up-words of 36 or more in commissions. He did have a sale for large pearl erring's when I ask the commission rate he would not answer the question.... be careful of this. 1 engagement ring was worth 18,000. yet his asking price was 8527.00 on jewelry that 6 times that amount. ....
I am going to report him to the BBB, as he needs to reveal his commssion reates.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crazy John is certainly crazy. I went in there to get a ring appraised for sale. Immediately John began to tell us how worthless diamonds are, how much their value is inflated by the media. He took one look at our ring and told us How much I had been scammed in my purchase.
He then made a disrespectful comment towards my wife, at that point we decided to leave without bothering to hear what he would have offered us.
I would look elsewhere before selling your items to this crook. His website was dishonest

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great experience selling my diamond ring to this company . John tells the truth about the diamond industry and wants to genuinely help people out when looking for engagement rings or other jewelry.
A diamond you buy from the mall or online is 10x the price than buying from this company, and these diamonds are better cut , colour, and clarity.
The negative reviews left by other individuals are merely out of sheer ignorance to the diamond industry and spite for being told the truth about diamonds. Something they didn’t want to believe, people tend to get upset when they’ve been told they’ve been scammed.
If you are looking to buy gold or diamonds and sell gold or diamonds this is the best place in all of Canada , not just Calgary. I would fly across the country first class to buy my diamonds from John and be able to a afford a 5 star hotel with all the money he has saved me and will save you.
I encourage everyone to shop here. Lots of respect to John and what he does for people. He runs his business with pride , honour and good virtue in telling through truthfulness and integrity, a rare thing to find nowadays.
