Staff are friendly and welcoming. My appointment for both an ultrasound and an X-ray was on time and efficient. I was in and out quickly.

This clinic is exceptional compared to most. The staff are very kind, the equipment is state of the art and the place is very hygienic. I was very comfortable during my appt and would visit again.

This clinic is clean and the ultrasound technician is friendly. But the receptionist are loud noisy people. Loud laughter and loud talking...The waiting room was only the noise of the staff. I've never seen like that in any other clinic before. so I was surprised. Loud social club don't seem right for the clinic.

This is my second time that I have had to go to get a cortisone injection in my knee. Very pleasant staff. The actual cortisone injector is amazing. Her knowledge and her experience shows. She is the best. Thank you.

Had an ultrasound and x-ray booked 1/2 hour apart. After arriving I was taken for my ultrasound and it was completed in about 15 minutes then brought back to the changing area and waited for my x-ray...and waited...and waited...and waited... Quite a few people had come and gone for their appointments but yet I was still waiting. I then realized that I was the only one in the changing area, and had been for quite some time, so I changed back into my street clothes and walked into the empty reception area, which indicated to me they weren't busy at all, but rather that I'd just been forgotten. Even the receptionist seemed shocked that I still hadn't been taken for my x-ray! Considering the time off of work I spent, and the far distance of the clinic from my home I didn't feel like wasting anymore of my time to reschedule. My time is important, so I'll go elsewhere for my x-ray.

I have been to a lot of hospitals in my life as a kid with a clumsy nature. But I NEVER have had this bad of an experience at a clinic. First when I went into my ultrasound I told the technician that my foot, (that was being examined), was very sensitive to touch and asked her to be gentle. She pressed so hard on my foot that I winced in pain multiple times before I said something. She did back off for a few seconds but then went right back to the pressure she was doing before. Then she wiped her machine and threw the cloth on my leg and told me to leave. Patient care should be the first thing taught and expected at any clinic. I definitely was not expecting that.

This was my first time at the West Edmonton Clinic and my experience was unprofessional and frustrating. I got to my appointment at the requested 15 minutes early and was taken back to change into a gown for my ultrasound. The ultrasound itself was fine, but at the end I had a similar experience to other reviewers where the cloth to wipe off the gel was thrown on my hip and I wasn’t given any privacy to clean off the gel before going out to change out of the gown. I had ultrasound gel all over me and my shirt as I was told to only take off clothing from the waist down. When I got up to leave the tech told me if I wanted to get the back of my hip ultrasound done I would have to book another appointment. (They did an ultrasound on the front and side of my hip and were supposed to do the back as well) I left the room confused and after changing I went to talk to the receptionist and asked her if the back of the hip was on the requisition, the receptionist told me that it was and that the tech hadn’t been scheduled enough time to complete the ultrasound and I could book in for another appointment β€œif I wanted.” Of course I want to get the full appointment done so that my doctor is able to treat me to the best of their ability based on the information they requested. I am appalled at the lack of respect for my time and patient care in general, if a requisition clearly states what needs to be done then why was I only scheduled in for part of it and made to come back? Quite frankly that is a waste of my time, not to mention that of the clinic's and other patients as well. I highly suggest that whoever is booking appointment times and acting as the coordinator do a much better job to schedule appropriate appointment lengths.
