At times I get excellent customer service, and there are other times that the associates don’t bother to greet you. The manager I believe? (Glasses with short curly reddish brown hair) wouldn’t even put my item on the SIDE. Even though i left my phone number last week! I only asked for 2 days on the side. Then I told them, I’ll make it work somehow and if they can hold it ONLY for one day. She still refused! I’ve NEVER had that issue elsewhere. I think she was just being b!tchy and didn’t even want to put it on the side, saying that we’re going to have them in stock for sure. How can you be so certain? What if there’s another customer that decides to purchase all 5 at once? So they can sell it double the price elsewhere? I confronted her about WHAT IF a customer decided to buy all of them at once, and resell them? And she said that they won’t allow that, and they can refuse a customer if that were to happen. Anyways, I love that they have anime, especially Sailor Moon. I just wished that they carry MORE Sailor Moon items here, otherwise I’d always be here. I just don’t like that lady. Everyone else here is nice though.

I felt conflicted about this because there’s one girl who is always VERY helpful and sweet but the experience I just had was completely embarrassing and appalling. I went in to return a product (brand new, not opened) that my partner purchased yesterday. The girl said I can’t return it because I don’t have his credit card that it was purchased on or she can only offer me store credit - as someone who works in retail, I know this to be the recommended return policy but it is not the ONLY return policy. So when I asked why that wasn’t explained to him, she was super rude when she said “If we had to explain our policies to every customer we would be here for an hour with each one”. If I wasn’t already frustrated enough, as I went to call my hubby to see what he wanted to do (exchange or come back later when he can) - she says she’s going to move into the next customer (totally cool with me ) and I step over a foot to make the call - she tells me i need to take my product, which I can't because my phone is in my one hand and my purse in the other - so I say I’ll just be a second and she drops my product over the counter onto the floor saying she can’t be held responsible for my product. This Product is. VR headset that she could have broken. Needless to say, I filed a complaint with their head office, who confirmed this is NOT accurate about their return policy and apologized up and down. It’s really disappointing to see someone get a job in retail, working with people when they clearly don’t have any people skills whatsoever. I will take my business elsewhere from now on solely based on the embarrassment and utter disgusting treatment I was given in front of a store full of customers. She clearly didn’t want to do the return and she clearly had a problem with me trying to find a solution instead of just saying “okay” and keeping this $100 product that we wanted to return.

This store used to be good not anymore, inquired about the status of my membership card and the employee working there said it's set to expire and took my card from me and handed me a lower level one. Won't be back to this store

The girl behind the counter had quite an attitude. Was looking for pokemon cards for Christmas and was asking if she had a certain pack she bluntly told me no I asked if they had any around at different stores again "no there sold out everywhere you probably won't find them" again with the attitude I was going to buy some different packs but just decided to leave So I went to toys r us and got the help I needed and my Christmas present Eb games has a bigger toy section then gaming section now but your better off shopping else at least with this location.

Hate Doug Ford for putting restrictions back in place so naturally there was a small line up felt bad for the lady constantly doing head counts. However she managed to find the game I wanted and got 10% off the game. Great customer service and friendly staff.

Great GameStop, only downside is that it’s in the mall and isn’t the largest. Still has a great selection for the store size tho

Half the store is dedicated to trinkets and junk. I remember when it was all about the video games. It feels claustrophobic in there even when the store is void of people because of the giant desk in the middle of the store and the amount of stuff packed into it. It used to be a very tidy store. The staff, however, are very knowledgeable and always willing to help.
