Unbelievable this place is still in business. I was referred to this facility and can’t even book an appointment with them. On two separate occasions I’ve tried to reach them via phone and gotten no response. Even after leaving a voicemail I’ve not heard back from anyone. Terrible service

It is impossible to reach this office by telephone. I have tried several times a day, all week, to reschedule a mammogram after receiving a message cancelling my Tuesday appointment due to equipment malfunction. I had the same experience a few months ago when initially trying to schedule the appointment. Shocking service from a medical diagnostic company.

I arrived for my mammogram appointment at 9:30am on March 8, 2022 and they informed me my appointment was cancelled. They sent me a reminder text the day prior and they didn't call me to say they needed to re-schedule. I had this appointment booked since September 2021 and they said my new appointment time would be August 2022. This is not acceptable for yearly screening. A 50 kms round trip and time off from work for nothing. This is very inconsiderate of people's time and money. I have transferred my records to another imaging location.

Very frustrating to book an appointment by phone with Gam Diagnostic at Oakville Trafalgar Rd. I called several times and every time I waited for few minutes then a message telling me that they are experiencing high volume busy assisting other customers and telling me to call back, and then hung up on me. They didn't even allow me to wait on the phone in queue. This wasn't the first time that I had this problem, I dread calling for appointment with Gam. They don't have online booking for appointment.

-The receptionist Demi was five star with her excellent speedy help - I think the other receptionists are doing their best in the circumstances -the xray technician was overworked bc we were told β€œonly one xray technician” was working today . My 90 year old mom waited so long and the xray tech had been told repeatedly about my moms β€œurgent β€œ requisition . Don’t go there if you need xray quickly or if you have another procedure plus an xray -bc after the first procedure we were put at the end of the xray line & we were there nearly 2 hours in total). We were very glad that the xray tech apologized . So we give her good review also -BUT I think that if the manager on duty knows that the xray tech is overbooked then the manager should be monitoring the situation for the clients and should tell people who want an xray that the wait can be excessive (While we were there we heard another person complain about waiting 1.5 hours and not being told in advance the wait time) Can the Manager tell the GAM owners and If GAM wants our community’s xray business then they should hire extra staff or mb they can have a backup technician on call in case one xray technician doesn’t work they day. Otherwise maybe the xray technician can make mistake or be blamed for something That is really beyond her control

I normally would not take the time to write a review, but I had to this time . Hopefully it will initiate some positive change in the operation of this facility. THis is the second time that i have experience not just appalling service(lack thereof) but total lack of responsibility! i was booked for an appointment well over 6months ago, recieved no reminder call(but that i guess is not the issue). However after i called to confirm my appointment, arrived at the appointment 20mins ahead of time, as advised by the person who confirmed my appointment date and time, i was advised by the reception that there was NO appointment booked for me!!! when i informed the person i gave my paper work to, that i had even called earlier in the day, advised her of the specific time of the call(as i had a record of it on my phone) she stated there was absolutely no appointment in my name and that i had to rebook the appointment! I took a day off work, to make sure i made the appointment schedule, and yet there was absolutely no sense of empathy or attempt to get me in for the appointment today. If one of their staff could have confirmed my appointment, just a few hours earlier, how was it possible they could not trace it? OR find out who confirmed the appointment after i gave them the specific time of my call? i wont be going back to this medical test facility again! And will also recommend my family physician not to recommend this facility....hopefully changes will be made to ensure the experience one has is improved at this facilty!

I just got off the phone to book an appointment and I have not had such horrible customer service in years. Obviously they are busy with lots of background talking noises but that does not mean they can be rude to their customers. Whoever was on the phone was so inpatient and just wanted to get this booking over with as soon as possible. She seemed irritated when I asked for clarifications or could not understand what she said. I even forgot my postal code because she was rushing me. I do not look forward to visiting this place for the appointment. Would have gone somewhere else if not my doctor referred me here.

First off, I want to say the technicians that did my ultrasound and mammogram were fantastic. It was my first time having it done and they were both gentle and patient with me. 5 stars for them. As for the reviews about the front desk people. I have a lot of empathy for them. They have to deal with rude people every single day (which isn't an excuse to be rude either). I advocate and work for human resources in the work place. And what I witnessed while I was there was very unsettling. The office manager, the older short lady with a blonde "Karen" hair cut was just rude, toxic and stuck up. I wouldn't be surprised if she was racist too. I saw/heard how she treats her staff. She grunts at them and waves them off like they are a nuisance. No wonder the staff are grumpy. They are treated terribly at their place of employment and by management. And what's disappointing is she did this in front of patients which means she doesn't care who can see this behaviour. This is a health care facility, I would expect staff to have compassion and empathy for the patients that come here. But from what I saw that day, you need to overhaul this whole place and train upper management. In fact you should do an internal investigation and see how many unhappy staff members they have. Quite frankly, I'm so disgusted with what I saw I am contemplating if I should report them to the Better Business Bureau.
