★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was here for my eye exam, very professional and friendly. I didn't end up needing to buy glasses but everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable with the products. The whole procedure was done very efficiently with minimal wait time between tests. All test instructions were easy to follow and tests were well explained as to what they were looking for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finding a good optometrist is like finding a good mechanic or a good dentist. A lot of trust has to go into that decision. Having not had an eye exam for a number of years, I'd heard about FYIDoctors through a work colleague, so I thought I would check them out. The first thing I noticed as I arrived for my appointment was a strict adherence to Covid safety and cleanliness. Off the top, this was assuring. I was greeted by one of the staff and within minutes, I was getting "lined up" for the first part of my exam. Right away, I knew something was different. The thoroughness of the tests and the friendly professionalism of the staff was something I hadn't experienced in my previous eye exam at another local shop. As a half hour went by, the litany of tests indicated that I needed some lenses for computer work, but that my eyes were healthy. I was led into the waiting area where the staff guided me through picking out a set of frames with patience and expertise. I was allowed to try on any frame I though was suitable and they gave me their honest opinions, without any pressure to buy. In the end, I selected a fantastic frame. I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommended this shop for its service, professionalism, selection, and thoroughness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing eye care facility. The equipment they use to diagnose eye problems is second to none. Dr. McMurter is so personable, and Patricia is such a caring person. The comprehensive eye exam i went through showed me that I've needed glasses my whole life, thank goodness I went there when my eye problems really caught up to me. Now, we just wait for my new specs to arrive, and I'll be able to see street names again!!! 10/10 I highly recommend this office to everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pleasantry starts from the first phone call. I spoke with Angie who was wonderful to speak with over the phone she made booking painless. She also cleaned my old pair of glasses!
Upon arrival I was immediately put into a room almost 15 minutes earlier than my appointment was scheduled.
The tests were quick and quite fun and Jaclyn was great to talk with even though it was their late shift. She was still obviously very happy with her current position.
Dr. Tracy was quick with her diagnosis. I was pleasantly surprised to hear my sight had slightly improved since the last time I was here!
Overall was a great experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ FYI Doctors in Ancaster is a well oiled machine! Everything was extremely organized from the moment you walk through the door.
This office has an incredible team. The team seems to truly enjoy each other and are super friendly (especially the receptionist with the great sense of humour!). When trying new frames, each person had input to see what best fit my face and my wants/needs. (but never pushy)
I found the exam itself to be comprehensive and the consultation after was clearly explained.
Overall, a relaxed environment that provides a well educated, efficient, and, enjoyable experience. (And I don't recall ever having said that about any medical office!:)
