G	Gemma Sleik on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Jan Van Wyngaarden was so patient and kind when working with me! She was able to help with multiple eye issues and answered all my questions. The facility was very clean and has state of the art equipment.

P	Pat Hubbard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Receptionist (V) is the only reason for the poor rating. My experience with Dr Patriquin was quite positive. So positive that I referred my daughter to her. When I booked the appointment for my daughter they booked her under Dr Wyngaarden, who is probably excellent as well, but I felt since my experience was with Dr Patriquin I wanted my daughter booked with her. So I asked the receptionist to change the appointment to Dr Patriquin and I was told that was done. My daughter was called and asked if she could change her appointment to the next day. When I called, the receptionist refused to take responsibility for the error because my daughter apparently was never booked with Dr Patriquin, and continued to be booked with Dr Wyngaarden. Dr Wyngaarden was not even in on the day they booked her. Apparently Dr Patriquin was also on holidays. My daughter is going ahead with her changed appointment with Dr Wyngaarden; again I am sure she is likely very good, but the receptionist is not. My daughter has a very busy work schedule and it's difficult for her to get in to appointments. A word of caution when booking appointments, that you are in fact getting the appointment the way you want it booked, with who you want it booked with.
J	Judy Tran on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff was friendly and kind, and the facility was clean and pleasant. I was seen by Dr. Jan Van Wyngaarden and had a total of 3 visits. I would suggest to proceed with caution with her if you have complex eye issues. After my initial exam, she told me she would get back to me after doing her research to find out which contacts would be best for me as I have high astigmatism. The two choices were inadequate for me as they made no difference. When I called to inquire about this, I was appalled that she sounded short and annoyed with me saying these are my only two options and that's the best that she can do. Throughout my appointments, I found her forgetful and clumsy. She would make a couple incorrect facts about me in one sitting, mistaking me for her other clients. She would open the wrong contacts, which would leave me with one less pair to go home with. She stumbled into furniture and objects a few times. I was not happy with the care I received from Dr. Jan Van Wyngaarden. I ended up having to go to a different optometrist who could better assist me with my eye care needs. Needless to say, it was a waste of time and money coming here.
