Close to highway for convenience. Bathrooms were clean and modern, with full tub. Room had a full kitchenette. Everything you need in a budget motel.
S	Sasha on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SCAM ALERT!! I booked online and then called to confirm a dog-friendly room, as it wasn't clear online whether that had gone through. The man who answered the phone told me their two pet-friendly rooms were booked, apologized for the inconvenience, and said he'd cancel the booking so I'd receive no charge. However, a month later I get my credit card bill and discover I was charged for the full 3-night stay I'd booked. I assume it must have been a mistake, so call the motel to clear things up. The owner/manager answers, and says he was the one working on the day of my original booking & subsequent cancellation. I explain the situation but he insists I never called, repeatedly calls me a liar, and refuses to refund a penny of the nearly $300 he stole from me. I have phone records that prove that we spoke. BOOK HERE WITH EXTREME CAUTION - if there's ANY chance of you needing to cancel a booking here, INSIST on getting everything in writing or be prepared to lose all your money. Better yet, stay somewhere else and not with this con artist.
D	Dal B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since the owner had the audacity to respond that there is "2 sides to every story" to my review I just wanted everyone here to know that we got our money back after reporting to visa that it was fraud. So yes. There is 2 sides and visa agreed your actions were fraudulent. Thanks for your reply though.

Booked 3 rooms for a Friday night, and spoke to a representative saying we would be late checking in, as some of the party would be arriving at YYJ on a later flight, to which we were told "no problem at all". Showed up (after calling 3 times saying flight was delayed and would be late) and all office lights were out. Took banging on the window for multiple minutes for someone to help out. "Manager" comes out and we say we are here, we'd like our rooms that we have booked. He was drunk, high, or both. Couldn't even look at his phone or computer screen straight. Eventually he started knocking on random doors looking for empty spots. After 20+ minutes of this he declares " I have 2 rooms available, but the bathrooms don't work". We immediately called the Best Western chemainus who amazingly accommodated us at almost midnight on a Friday night. Fuller Lake is a complete joke and I wouldn't stay here even if my life depended on it. How is it even in business?

Said we burnt holes in the floor and did all this damage to the rooms that was there before we even checked in. Read the reviews and you'll see he has scammed multiple visitors. Would not recommend staying here for multiple reasons.
B	Brooks Bay on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked a room, no one available at check in. Slept in my truck but still charged for the room since I was slightly past the check in time of 10pm. (Arrived at 10:35 pm). Was not the only one left with out a room. Guess it could have been worse, I feel for the Mother and children that were also left without a bed. Read the fine print. Dishonest business in my opinion.
K	Kathleen Sloper on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly check in and room was clean but...drapes falling apart and wouldn't close all the way. They could have invested 1.00 and get some drapery hooks. Paint on doors chipping and microwave door had melted, TV bracket wouldnt hold TV in upright position, kept falling forward. Some other reviews said they're upgrading so maybe this room hadn't been worked on yet. Bathroom seemed to be renewed tho. Overall ok. Main thing is we wanted a clean room.
