The entire staff are excellent and very attentive to your pets needs. I trust each and everyone with the care of my puppy, Yadi. if there was a 6 star, I would give them that. Highly recommend...

Fruitland Veterinary always is able to make time for our two dogs when a situation occurs. They always provide an estimate and contact us to advise. When picking up our pets we are always thoroughly briefed on the problem and steps taken to resolve. We are also provided with detailed instructions on how to administer medication.

I wish I could give them no stars. My rabbit went into their clinic this morning for a neutering. I payed extra for blood work so I could take extra precaution. My rabbit died on the table. I understand things happen and my rabbit was believed to have a heart condition I was unaware of. When the vet called me about his death he was not sincere in the slightest. He told me the surgery failed and I still owed him the costs of the surgery. Not only did I have to pay for the entire surgery that killed my bunny, they charged me $250 as a cremation fee. Absolutely disgusting that they called me hours after my rabbit died and asked for more money because they failed to keep my rabbit alive. Please don’t support this business, I am devastated.

They got me in the same day for an emergency appointment for my hedgehog. Dr. Gilbert was gentle with her while assessing the situation at hand and honest about her condition. He provided options for treatment regardless of his recommendation to put her to sleep. Both he and the nurse provided support in the hard decision that had to be made. Today I received a card in the mail from the clinic expressing their sympathies with the signatures from the entire staff. Should I adopt another pet, I will return to this clinic. Thank you for the sympathy and for taking care of my little one.

My cat experienced a very sudden medical emergency in October of 2021. I called Fruitland Veterinary Hospital 5 minutes before they were closing and explained the situation, they agreed to stay and see my cat. Unfortunately, my cat was dying and needed to be euthanized, but the staff were unbelievably sympathetic and kind. They explained everything in detail and let me spend as much time as I needed with my baby. It was one of the worst nights of my life but the kindness I was shown was amazing. Even though we were not patients of this clinic at the time, they sent us a card in the mail a few days later with their condolences. We now bring our dog to this clinic after a terrible experience at another clinic and we couldn't be happier with the care she has received. She is an elderly dog and we were looking for palliative care and they have been wonderful. All costs have been discussed up front and explained in detail. We love the app they use to keep track of medication and bloodwork results. Can't thank them enough!

My 15 year old fur baby was struggling to breathe. I contacted Fruitland as they were listed as emergency vets. They saw him immediately. I waited in my car due to Covid and the vet phoned me within 10 minutes to explain the issue, the next steps and the cost implication. He wanted me to have all details up front. I like that. No surprises. My dog was with the vet for a few hours as it was his heart. He needed to clear fluid off his lungs and was started on a number of drugs. I brought my pet home with very clear instructions and the confidence that I could call or see them if I had issues and the details of the after hours service. These guys saved my dogs life. No doubt about it. Prompt, professional and called me 3 times to update me while I was waiting and again the next day to check up on him. Excellent.

Daryl and I had an emergency with our dear cat Emma and Fruitland Vet took her and worked on her for 3 hours or more and basically saved her life . Dr. Gilbert and the wonderful ladies were right there with Emma and they gave us detailed info and have followed up with phone calls and emails. Emma may not be with us for long but for now she is better and comfortable and we thank this wonderful team at Fruitland for that. We have another cat and a little dog and we have transferred their care to Fruitland as we feel so confident they will be there for our fur babies. Unfortunately our previous vet just did not measure up. Thank you Dr Gilbert and wonderful staff.
