Fried chicken club (southkeys )

We got a deluxe combo that came with chicken (we got half regular, half spicy), large fries, 3 biscuits, and 3 drinks. I'll start with the chicken. It is fried well and is crispy, a bit greasy but not overwhelmingly so. Sadly it is seriously under-seasoned, from the batter to the meat, it lacks salt and other herbs/spices. The spicy chicken has a good dusting of cayenne pepper but beyond that there's really no seasoning. You can see the pictures of the regular chicken to see there isn't specks of black pepper or any other spice. The sides were a miss. The fries were decent but again needed to be seasoned. They're just like the Cavendish fries from Costco. Also the coleslaw looks like the packaged Ziggy's coleslaw with an off-shade green colour (see pic). I saw on social media they make a bunch of sauces. I only got ketchup and sweet Thai chili in my order. The sweet Thai chili is standard, exactly like the stuff from the bottle. Gravy is supposedly made in house but it tastes like the pre-made mixes. The biscuits were way off for us. It's more like cornbread than biscuit, super oily leaving a stain in the box, and crumbly. Service was otherwise great. Shoutout to the young lady working at the front who was busy as hell but handling everything. The shop also has poor ventilation so after spending ~5 minutes inside ordering, my mask and hair all had the oil odour in it. Overall, while the chicken was cooked well there was a general lack of seasoning on everything. The sides were what pushed this meal to be unsatisfactory—lacks flavour, oily, and feels like they're just re-packaging already mass produced packaged foods. If the idea is to have chicken be under-seasoned to be a blank canvas for their sauces, it'd be more understandable but then they should really give all their sauces with order instead of the generic sweet chili and ketchup.

The best fried chicken in town. The sauces and spicy chicken are great. It is our go to spot for fried chicken. Great staff and customer service as well! You wont be disappointed.

Huge pieces of tender juicy chicken with a beautiful crispy batter. Wonderful sweet potato fries and green coleslaw. The biscuits are also warm and oh so fluffy and absolutely heavenly! This place I give 10/10!. I definitely recommend?

I have tried a few different chicken brands in Ottawa and this is so far my most favorite one. The taste is very unique and the chicken is juicy, exactly how delicious asian fried chicken should be. Western chicken is usually dryer so if it may be not what you usually have. I loveeee the onion rings and burger. The price is awesome for big portions. I was impressed with their packaging and bright uniforms. Good touch! If I have not mentioned the customer service, they are exceptional attentive, friendly, and get my orders done very neatly and quickly! Absolutely 5*

I was very impressed with the service I received here. Staff was friendly, and the food was cooked to order and came quickly. Fried Chicken Club definitely gives excellent value for your money, and is the best tasting chicken in town.

Today I called Fried Chicken Club, (southkeys), and the person that took my order didn’t understand what I was saying at all. After re-asking multiple times if she understood what I was saying, she denied that I had ordered 4 combos, and kept rudely stating that I had just ordered 1. After that she hung up the phone! Terrible service. Secondly, when we received our food, the burgers almost made me puke since the chicken bones were still inside! One burger I got, had the top bun on both sides, and another burger had the bottoms buns on both sides. Despite asking for non-spicy they gave us spicy burgers. Some advice I’d give is probably getting better and polite workers in your restaurants.

Ordered here twice so far and am extremely pleased with the quality of the chicken combo and the chicken sandwich. Love the dips and gravy provided. I highly recommend the food here and see myself ordering here frequently. The chicken is wonderfully flavoured and huge portions! I couldn't resist I just had to taste the skin on a piece before snapping this photo.

Incredible service! Food is delicious. Always drive past this place and glad I decided to stop in today. Excellent customer service and food. I ordered the chicken burger combo... WOW! They are on ubereats and skip the dishes.
