★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Each meal comes with about 4 cups cooked rice— so wayyy too much filler. They were out of 2 appetizers. Lamb shanks in both our meals were dry. Although they advertise about six different types of coffees, they did not have them available and the server told us it had been that way for at least a month .
Service was lackluster… almost amateurish. Kid it was more focused on his phone than on serving us and we were the only ones in the restaurant for about 45 minutes.
Place is well decorated though & COULD BE something nice— but they have a long way to go. We gave it a 3.5… and that was mostly because we were really hungry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered out during my trip to Ottawa and this was absolutely delicious. I took the Lamb Mandi and it was the most mouth watering lamb I've ever had! Fine and exquisite cuisine. Will definitely be going again to try other dishes off their menu. Agreed that service can be slightly improved in terms of being more engaged and friendly, otherwise I highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food though poor customer experience, on sunday we called them and they said they are closed though it was 2 hours to go for offficial closing time, therefore we came on a completely dead Monday evening and they said they dont have chicken today and only serving lamb, tells a lot about the restaurant ! The food took very long to arrive on a not busy evening, there is only one receptionist cum server hence she was doing back and forth between kitchen and serving, getting our soft drinks took 20 minutes. On a positive note, the lamb mandi and kabsa were really delicious and serving enough for 2 people although they said one! Decor is lovely!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped here for lunch on a trip to Ottawa with friends. The location is good with ample parking space. The restaurant layout is spacious, but not too large.
We ordered the Mandi Lamb and Kansa Chicken for four hungry people to share. The size of the food was enough to even have leftovers.
The flavour of the lamb was exceptional, tender and succulent. The chicken was delicious, with crispy skin on and tender meat! The mandi rice was probably the best I’ve tasted in Canada. The Kabsa rice was also fantastic. The entire meal was amazing and I’m very pleased with this restaurant.
Out waiter was very courteous, prompt, and pleasant.
I highly recommend this restaurant! You can’t possible be disappointed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a meal! First time we pay a bill in a restaurant and there was no doubts about the service we’ve got! Hospitality level of the charts and the place feels like home. So authentic. Definitely worth revisiting!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was the first time I brought my children to Ottawa and as we were searching for a restaurant with familiar food to our taste we came across this one. We had 2 plates of an Arab dish called “kabsah” which you could tell was thoroughly made and thought out. Later on we had gotten desert which was made with bananas Aland what tasted like honey along with cheese and some sort of white sauce. It was incredibly good and a perfect desert . Im very thankful that I came across this place and ate here with my wife and children, would definitely recommend! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crazy delicious authentic arabian food with an exceptional hospitality post pandemic.
The interior design is gorgeous, I’m not much fan of green colour but the pistachio green on the dark grey made the place look warm and cozy with a touch of elegance throughout the luxurious lighting.
The food was served in original silver plate with clean silverware . We ordered the Mandi Lamb rice, epic! The lamb was so tender and tasty. The quantities were very generous. The young ones ordered their hamburgers , they were juicy and delicious.
Our host, the restaurant owner treated us as family. Then a sweet young lady, Huda was there to make sure everything was to our taste. They went above and beyond. They even treated us for a dish to taste, kabsae, which will certainly order next time.
Highly recommend it to support a local restaurant who provides a great experience!
