★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr.Chan came highly recommended by a friend for his professionalism and patience dealing with kids. I took my kids in for their eye exam and I was so impressed with how he explained every step and made sure they understood what was happening. I am so happy that I found a great optometrist I can trust and who makes my kids feel comfortable. The staff are also very friendly and helpful :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Chan and his staff offer easily the best optometry experience I've ever had. As someone who has been dealing with optometry basically since birth I have quite a bit of experience.
The examinations are incredibly detailed but do not feel like they take up too much of your time. Dr. Chan clearly explains each step and its' importance to your overall health and vision. You feel like you are in good hands with your best interests looked after.
His team has been extremely helpful in scheduling appointments, picking out frames and updating on the status of orders.
I'm happy to have found Fremont Eye Centre and would recommend it to anybody!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to say, Dr Chan deserves this 5 out of 5 score!
When I told Dr Chan and his staff that they received a 4.9 score out of 5, they were not even aware... so for sure the excellent reviews are genuine. In all my life I have never had such a thorough eye examination and explanation of all the findings. The reason I saw Dr Chan was for a medical examination of my eyes that is covered by B.C. Medical because the previous optometrist merely gave me a prescription and told me in a couple of years I would need to get my eyes examined further. Hmmm. When I questioned her she just gave me yes or no answers, so I knew it was time to look for another Eye Doctor. I am totally impressed with Dr Chan and would definitely recommend him! He and his staff make you feel very welcome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was looking for an eye clinic in the neighborhood and these guys were recommended to me.
I was pretty happy with my first couple visits. The clinic is very pleasant and bright and staff is polite and welcoming.
Dr. Chan spent quite a bit of time with me, explaining what he was testing and what the results meant, which I appreciated. Not all doctors explain things.
They had a nice selection of frames for glasses and my order came in quickly and with no issues.
I am definitely intending to stay with these guys for a the foreseeable future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Chan is the absolute best! His exams are thorough, and he always explains very clearly what he's doing. He's great with children too. He and his staff recently went above and beyond to make sure my daughter could get her new glasses to see properly despite their office having to close. For that, and the great service that is their usual way of doing things, we'll be customers forever! I would recommend Dr Chan to anyone wanting top-notch eye health care!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and light floor. Comfortable environment. Employees and the doctor are very nice, friendly, and helpful. MSP accepted (for kids and elder people). Frames and lens available for shopping here. Free parking lot available. Appointment needed. Walmart, Canadian Tire, Costco, A&W, and many shopping and dinning options available nearby. Overall, I would recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I trusted chan to do regular eye exams for my kid, however I recently found out how untrustworthy and unprofessionalism he is! During our November visit, he told me that my son needed glasses and gave us a glasses prescription. We ordered glasses from another store, and then shortly after I found out that my son could see better without the glasses. So we went back to Chan for another vision check in December and found out the right eye was off by 1 point, not to mention that the left eye was also off, but by 1 quarter. I don’t see how a 7 year old vision can change that much in less than a month. So don’t brother to respond to my review by saying something like a growth spurt. Not only I will seek second opinion on the glasses prescription, but also I will file a compliant with College of Optometrists of British Columbia, so save ur response to this review. I now realize that this is not the first time you gave out wrong glasses prescription after reading all the reviews! I recommend that anyone goes to this place or thinking to go to this place to switch to a different optometrist!
