★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I live in a basement and was not able to get coverage from freedom, I had bought a prepaid plan and they wouldn't refund me. They didn't tell me prepaid plans could not be refunded before I purchased it and didn't warn me it might not work. Seems rather anti consumer. I have a hard time recommending freedom with the lack of coverage. I'm out $134 wish I could give a zero

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shahram is one of the nicest people you’ll ever deal with, and is very professional and personable. He was able to look at my plan and get me the best possible price, and my needs were definitely met. Great experience. Every store manager should stride to be like Shahram.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My old iPhone broke down...I was reluctant to go into any of their stores because the service at freedom because the service I have received in the past has been terrible. I checked out their Thurlow location and was disappointed. The guy came to the door...didn’t even let us inside and then when I told him I wanted an iPhone he told me they didn’t have any and that was end of story. Then, I said to my friend let’s swing by the Robson store. Inside we met the only freedom representative working...Farrukh...he was so professional....he checked every store to find me an iPhone that matched my needs. I didn’t want an increase to my bill and I don’t like android phones. He called his boss...was online and called other stores till he found me a free iPhone. He was helpful and explained everything...he didn’t leave me hanging. The next day my phone was delivered to his store where he told me to pick it up...he organized all that too. He downloaded all my info from phone to phone and explained any questions I had. Friendly guy and knew his stuff. Finally, I had a good experience at freedom...they need more staff like him. He seems like he cares and enjoys his job...so many people out there are just going through the motions and I sometimes wonder how they got their jobs. Kudos to this guy!!! I think it is very important to not only write the bad reviews, but the good ones too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible service. It won't work in the transit from Burrard to Yaletown. Will not work in North Van much.
I went to the store, asking for assistance, they did absolutely nothing.
This store is horrendous. The service is bad, as a former student I understand the cheap rates are alluring, it really is not worth it. Other services are far better.
The customer service makes you wait for long, then does nothing and will keep you going on a loop and "Apologize" in the end.
I am not a fan of negative reviews, this didn't help one bit. I had different mobile services, this is the only one store and service that I will wholeheartedly say IS NOT WORTH IT.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not helpful staff at all, pretty darn rude to be honest and could definitely use some customer service skills. I went there to find out if my cord was not working properly, insisted I go to the freedom store where I bought my phone from. I offered to PAY for the cord (my phone was completely dead) as I desperately needed to charge my phone. She claimed she didn't have the cord and told me again to go to the store I bought it from. Obviously that was NOT an option or I would've went there instead.
Get some customer service skills and LISTEN instead of asserting something else. Went to London Drugs on Robson instead, guy checked my phone, tried a new cord and sure enough it worked, problem solved. I didn't even buy my phone from there but at least they were helpful!

No confusion at all.

Shinju was the representative who convinced me to switch from Koodo to Freedom. She assisted me with porting my number to Freedom in a very easy, caring, and thorough manner. Honestly, I am likely to be a long term/ongoing customer because of her wonderful service. She was patient, answered all my questions with kindness, and made sure to inform me of all the important details. I feel like a valued customer and I feel like I can trust Freedom because of her. Thank you so much!!
