Dealt with Tyler and his father Herold, and they were both fantastic. They could not have made the experience any better for me. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even though I never got my car serviced from them, they got amazing customer service ! Walked in today (July 5, 2021) for an oil change, the guy at the front desk was super nice. The only thing is that I couldn’t get that oil change is cuz the next available appointment was approx 2 weeks from now !
So folks, make sure to call-in to book an appointment before you take your car to the garage !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly obsessed with this autoshop, if that is an appropriate description for a mechanic shop. They are extremely kind, so knowledgable, and I have never felt like I am being taken advantage of or talked down to there despite my complete lack of car knowledge (25 year old female). They never try to upsell you services and are upfront with exactly what needs to be done and what your options are in terms of fix (speaking as the owner of a 16 year old Honda). Will be a lifetime customer as long as I live in the Vancouver area and I recommend them to everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did what I asked (new starter motor) after checking to make sure that was the problem, did it quickly, checked out some other things I would have liked to have asked for if I had thought to, gave me some good advice for future maintenance, and charged a reasonable price for the labour and parts. And they were friendly in person and on the phone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heard good things about Fred's Automotive, and I'm so glad I went here. They fixed the issue, went above and beyond to track me down a 2nd hand replacement part, charged me way less than I was bracing for, and even let me drive the car for a couple weeks before paying to make sure that the new part had fixed the problem. I've been to a lot of recommended shops around town before, but this was such an unexpectedly pleasant experience that I can't see myself ever going anywhere else again. A bit of a wait to get an appointment slot, but I can see why- definitely the best place in town. Thanks, Fred's!

They are not only great at what they do, but they listen attentively and ask deeper questions to problem solve better. They explain everything so you can understand. And they have gone above and beyond to make sure that I’m taken care of with the service. Their rates are fair. Not often you can leave a mechanics and feel great at the money just spent. But I’m more than happy to spend my money there for maintenance and repairs. They are truly a gem in this city.
