Awesome folks, straightforward and honest professional opinions. Would go there for my car tune-ups if my car wasn't an EV. But they've patched up my tires, replaced 12v batteries, and the like.

My aunt had a flat tire and we needed a replacement, she didn’t understand the whole process of it. The team had been so patience explaining everything to us, especially when my aunt doesn't speak native English. They have been very kind and friendly throughout the process and we definitely recommend Vital to our friends.

In the past I have been ripped off by mechanics so I’m a bit apprehensive but I’ve always had a great experience at Vital. When I get work done I ask a lot of questions to understand/learn and Vital has always been patient with me , explains everything in detail, what is important to get fixed right away and what can wait. I can say they are 100% honest people. I will only go to this place in the city, thank you Vital!!

Dee and Allan's team are very professional and friendly. They completed the same service as Mercedes dealership usually does on my car and a lot cheaper. Totally recommend and I will definitely come back for my next service.

These mechanics are great, friendly, and honest. They are usually quite busy, but always get to my car before they think they will. They always call before doing anything, and will always do what is necessary, but tell you about what else should be done. They are quick, and more affordable than others. I came here for the first time ever years ago because they were one of the few auto shops with a 5 star rating, and they deserve it .

Came for a simple inspection and ended up wasting weeks of my time and money. I dropped my car off here for an out of province inspection. I trusted their high rating on Google maps so I expected this to go smoothly. They quoted me a range between $1000 and $1600 to do the necessary repairs, one of which was due to play in the tie rods. They were booked up so I took my car to my usual mechanic to get it fixed faster. My mechanic was able to fix the issues for just $680. I took the car back to Vital to get the re-inspection but they insisted the tie rods still have play, and that my mechanic didn’t fix it right. They wanted around $600 to fix it. I felt this was fishy because I called my mechanic and he was adamant that there was absolutely no play in the tie rods. So I took my car to another reputable mechanic so I can get a third opinion. They took me under the car and showed me there was no play. I shelled out another $150 for an inspection with them and lo and behold, my car passed with no issues. Did Vital lie to me telling me there is play in the tie rods? I can’t tell you because I’m not a mechanic. But when two reputable mechanics tell me there is no problem (and put their license on the line by passing the inspection) and Vital says there is a $600 problem — that’s really suspicious. EDIT: In response to the reply from Vital: I was very patient with you guys and your busy schedule. Did I want to run around town to 3 different mechanics? Of course not. I really wanted to make this work with you given your high reviews. I don't like leaving negative reviews unless they are absolutely justified. Am I trying to save a buck when some work does not need to be done on my car? Of course, we all are. However, I am always ready to shell out the money needed to fix my car that I love to death. I really gave you guys a chance. Nay, multiple chances. Again, when two other established and licensed mechanics disagree with your assessment, it's 2 versus 1 and I'm siding with the 2. End of story.
