★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This class is very informative and the practical exercises make the lessons even more meaningful. David is a great (and hilarious) instructor.
I changed my review because we are yet to receive the first aid books that we paid for. My wife even called to arrange for a pickup and was told that she would get a call back. After one week she still hasn't gotten a call back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aurel was a great instructor! Made sure we were all involved in the learning! Gave us a lot of hands on experience which was wonderful allowed me to feel more confident in using my skills in the real world! Definitely recommend taking the course with them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ridiculous 2 cancelled workshops cause instructors called in sick. No back up plans apparently for staffing issues. Second rebook didn’t even get notified went all the way there for nothing.

He gave the content the seriousness it needed with no alarm, intimidation or excessive details that derailed learning. (The last place I took it had us refolding the bandages again and again.).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Connor was my instructor and he was excellent! Very knowledgeable, concise, and engaging. He provided lots of hands on practices and put us on different emergency scenarios to perform skills we learned in class. Highly recommend Connor and love the course overall!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Courses are offered at multiple locations. I live in Surrey and chose the Newton location. Day 2 of Standard First-Aid was rescheduled twice due to lack of attendance (this is not the company's fault). I opted to complete day 2 at the Vancouver location.
Instructor at the Vancouver location was Connor. He made the learning day fun by adding a simulated scenario to our day. He asked us to leave the room while he set-up a "scene" and the students came in to provide first aid. It seemed cheesy at first, but it definitely added something different and fun.
Getting recertified could be a drag, especially if you have drive out a bit to complete it. Connor made the day worth it; he is a great instructor!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing ? Connor was probably the greatest instructor I've ever had. I've been getting CPR training for about 6 years and his session stood out to me the most. He was engaged, I wasn't falling asleep in his class. He was concise, captivating, and meticulous. I like that he makes sure that we did every single step, including the little things that people tend to overlook. He taught his class in a way that was easy to understand and I feel extremely confident in case I were to ever come across an emergency. Finally, he teaches you how to manage and take lead in emergency situations. I haven't had anyone do that and it is an extremely important skill. I would recommend Connor to anyone whether you have medical background or not.
