Had a great first aid instructor recert! Class was run smoothly, not too much in the surrounding area, but accessible by transit none the less. Brian taught a great, smooth class and was on point with what we needed to know.

I am Supreet and I recently took my first aid Instructor course from Pacific First Aid Vancouver . Both the instructors BRYAN and ADAM were really good. They were pretty engaging, informative and approachable. The facility where they organised the classes was well ventilated and big enough. They provided a variety of things for refreshment. ALL in ALL I highly recommend Pacific First Aid for the First Aid Instructor courses.

I recently used this company to take my first aid course and based on my experience I would not recommend this service to any friends or family as my experience was very disappointing and left myself and fellow classmates frustrated. I didn't receive any confirmation for the time or address until 10 hours prior to the date. No where in the email did it state that the building we were going to was going to be a AUTO repair shop which left myself and fellow classmates confused and lost with the only indication being a sticky note on a door in a Ally way. When we opened the door we were presented with a dark dirty stair well with shower curtains and boxes taped on the windows.. When myself and my classmates arrived we were presented with what is assumed to be an abandoned DOJO in a attic which was soo freezing we were all shaking and you could see our breathe! one girl was literally shaking she was soo cold and often had to leave to warm up in her car. we froze for 8 hours it was awful! During the course the instructor seemed lost and confused often having to read from a textbook. Paper taped to walls using Painters tape with ineligible writing - The instructor would refer to anything and any situation as a CASUALTY which confused the whole class even after we corrected him "Now treat the casualty for CPR" it was bizarre and he seemed confused as to what the word meant. We did 7 hours of CPR training which involved standing up and sitting down over and over - I counted 52 times which felt more like cardio then anything else. We were instructed to all speak at the same time which led to confusion and disorganization and frustrated the class. After 7 hours of CPR we finally started to cover the next portion which immediately began with treating a severed hand - a bit confusing for a class who has only learned CPR chest compressions. with one of us asking "How did we get here?" the instructor asking us "Anyone know how to treat a severed hand?" with one stating "No this is why were here.." it was a disastrous experience from start to finish. None of us were instructed before hand that there isn't a paper test and it was all done on our smart phones which one girl only having 5% battery which we had to go and borrow a charger from a local business. During the testing - The test covered things that the instructor did not teach us and for a couple questions when i asked for help I was presented with dismissive attitude and told "you should know this, I'm not helping you" which is not conductive to any learning experience.

Would recommend this training organization to anybody! This is where I started my career as a First Aid Instructor, where Bryan was my Instructor Trainer. Even though Bryan knew that I was opening my own training organization, he was willing to help via WhatsApp, email and phone call to help me start my career and business. Bryan is genuinely one of the nicest Instructor, Instructor Trainer and a Mentor that you will meet. Note: I am not associated or employed with Pacific First Aid.

Pacific First Aid provided one of the most incredible first aid training experiences I've had. Taught all the crucial skills, checked personally multiple times to make sure my technique was accurate, simulated high pressure situations well. In comparison to my other experiences with different first aid companies, this was truly above the mark.
