These guys are the biggest scammers on earth .. you never get a straight answer All you ever get is the run around if you need something Just met a young couple coming out of the office she was crying because they kept her dd because she didn’t give written , she went to office .. gave verbal , why didn’t they tell her then she needed written .. offered to move my dd to another boardwalk unit but I have to give an extra 250 ???? Also new unit is advertised at one price but for some reason I don’t qualify for that price my price is higher They flat out lied and said it’s provincial law all rental units need insurance and made me get it Also demanded access to our chequing account “ in case “ ????? I hate them and hate dealing with them .. save yourself some grief and go anywhere else there is lots of options , these guys are the worst . If you don’t believe me knock on any door and ask if teneants are happy and you will get the truth .

Boycott Bordwalk everyone in North America! They are all fugazys and not worthy to be in business anymore. I suggest everyone move if they live at a bordwalk property and or quit if you are employed with this fraudulent fugazy group of people at Bordwalk In Calgary Alberta. * I repeat do not do business with Bordwalk*

Absolutely do not recommend Boardwalk Calgary; after living in 2 separate locations our experience has been horrible both times. Onsite management are dishonest and disrespectful, maintenance staff are unqualified and ignorant to the environment and cooperation literally gives the expected song & dance when you finally do get one to hear you out.

This people are either incompetent or dishonest. le 3rd of January 2018 I placed two requests for repairs Urgent! Water was leaking under de kitchen sink and the temperature in both dining room and living room was at 17 c or 67 F. I called again after a week, still no news after 10 days... Heating was the same problem last year. When I called the Director of operation in Montreal, Mr Lorenzo offered me money!!!I I was offended with this attitude. I told him I was not begging for money I was rather expecting quick repair, hoping I would get the service for the rental fee that was taken from my bank account, regularly... The temperature got mild again, some repairs were done at the patio door...This year the same problem arise again, the heating ramp is partly not working. At Xmas eve and New year eve , this year, we had to wear jackets...thanks to Boardwalk. At the same time water is leaking from the rook on the front of the elevator at the 6th floor, my floor, the last of the building. Again this was reported more than once over the years. This people does not look at preventive maintenance, and urgency is not part of their register...they are only into temporary repairs... It is a shame to have this kind of attitude for a service corporation. I am leaving in Montreal, Nun's Island buildings. P.S. They have the guts to say that we are a community, and this week I received my rental renewal with an increase...! Maybe they are not quite competent...?

Terrible business - do not rent with them. They make even worse employers. Half their employees are expected, forced and trained to treat people bad with their so called policies that only makes sense to them. Go see their online reviews, read each one to help you learn about how cold-hearted and horrible these people are despite their claims of being all about “community” “respect” and “honesty”. AVOID these people in any shape and form.

I have visited this place after the 'new management' was inside. The staff are a lot more tentative to the customers when they arrive, and thankfully the person that is taking your order is not the one cooking your food as well (Time consuming) The place is doing pretty well now. I do feel like the food would come out faster if the 'management' would actually help the cook or the front end staff. (This will be needed for the upcoming months) Other then that, it was my first time back at this place after the horrible service that many of us were given for months. I give it a 3 star because I must visit again to see how my time is the next time.

No grace period after being asked to leave. Rented from them when I was young and dumb at the age of 20 with the attitude of just partying. Now later in life, with a more mature attitude and life on track I find that their policy in place (Which I understand where they are coming from) doesn't allow 2nd chances. We were all young once and made a few choices in life we were not proud of. Overall when I was younger I loved my time in Boardwalk,

The problems began when I moved out and broke my lease after living there for two years and four months. I ended up paying more than 2000$ for “incentives” for four months. My one bedroom apartment was valued at 1450 (more than my mortgage) and I was paying 1280. Later I found out that a lady was oui g 1200 for a two bedroom two bathroom. All units are valued individually and there is no consistency in rent. I had to rembourse the “incentives” plus my parking spot (100/month) plus 1000$ penalty. It ended up costing me 2000$ to move out. Without my knowledge or permission, they took my damage deposit, no damage occurred ( I have the paper to prove it), and applied it to my bill. Pretty sure you cannot use they damage deposit for anything else but damage. Instead of giving me the full bill, they assumed I didn’t want it back and took it because I had a balance owing that I was willing to pay. I would have much rather made that decision myself of whether I wanted to apply it or not. They took my deposit for non-damages. Not only that, they charged me 320$ for the Telus contract that I brought with me for my new place. They eventually reimbursed me for this, however, I had to fly off the handle to get it. And I mean lose it on the phone. And forget about ever getting in touch with these people at Boardwalk. I left three messages in 8 days to be able to have someone finally call me back. I explained to her that I can’t sell my house and go back months later for what it should have been worth. Paying for incentives- really? I understand I signed a contract however these are stipulations that are non-negotiable. If you say no to paying incentives if you break your lease you can’t live there. Be aware that this is a clause. Honestly, I’m a young lady who has a lot of friends and social media followers and I would not recommend Boardwalk to any of them simply for the move out experience. Avoid- they do not appreciate loyalty for two years and four months of income. Another bloodsucking, capitalist company who does not think long-term about their reputation. Rather live in a box on the street than sign a lease with them again.
