★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The building is nice and central to a lot of places, but this building has bed bugs and cockroaches. Be warned.
Leslie, the property manager, is an unpleasant person.
Update: March 15, 2021 - My girlfriend has already voiced our concerns, but Leslie doesn't seem to care. So I'm sharing our experience here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apartment block situated in a convenient part of downtown and operated by one of the best rental companies in the country.
The property managers genuinely care for the people and building and are great to talk to on casual or professional terms.
You can get to the C-train line in 7 mins walk, or to Calgary Tower area for work in 20 mins walk or 8 mins biking, plus the Safeway a block over, so you're in a very convenient area for reasonable rent. City planning is working on expanding the bike lane network so things should get even better in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the decorations in the lobby, especially love how the gym was turned into a whole Halloween scene, really looks like a lot of effort put into the decorations that brings a nice comfortable and homey feeling to whole building!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a super amazing place to rent! Leslie and Pierre are super friendly, and they go out of their way to keep the building looking nice with seasonal decorations and consistent cleaning practices. The building is also in a great location, as it is only a 5 minute walk to 17th Ave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The building managers show genuine care and consideration for the tenants here at Stratton Oak. They always go above and beyond when decorating whether it be Halloween or Christmas - it always looks great! They are also very safety conscious and always listen to the concerns of the tenants in the building. I would recommend this property for people who are considering living in the Beltline area.
