E	Evan Harris on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I received a mortgage from First National a couple weeks ago. I selected weekly payments on the mortgage commitment at the lawyers. Much to my surprise they put the payment frequency as semi monthly. I called in to have this changed and was given the run around advising that they need 10 business days to process a change. I managed to get them to rush the request to align with my pay dates andThey then told me there would be an interest adjustment made and I would receive a letter/email/call advising when this was done. 3 days go by and I hear nothing. I then call in and am told that they already took the funds from my account on April 29, without letting me know. I’ve wasted several hours sorting out there mistake. The lack of communication is annoying to say the least. They need to do better!

Shauna helps us with renewing our mortgage and is just really good at her job and easy to talk to. I am pretty blown away by the costumer service. 10/10 from me easily.

They will get the mortgage for you but don’t expect them to ever bend in any way to help out a long term customer. Extremely disappointed that their sales staff can provide bad advice and they won’t stand behind it despite claiming the calls are recorded. Look, what good is advice if they just pretend it didn’t happen after the fact? Looking forward to moving my mortgage to a new company, hopefully one that values their clients.
