Fifth Avenue Cabs offers many 24/7 services to meet the transportation needs of our customers in Lethbridge and the within the surrounding area.

 

Our fleet is made up of a range of vehicles including six-passenger vans that can accommodate large groups and provide service to the airport. We will even make longer trips to destinations in southern travelling as far as Calgary. What’s more, all of our vehicles are clean and smoke-free and all our drivers are knowledgeable and friendly.

I used to use this cab all of the time, and was loyal to them for years. Even as a Canada post delivery person I always made sure to use their service each and every day. I have not used a cab in years but needed one, and again called for fifth avenue cabs. I called and was told it would be a 20 minute wait. After 35 minutes I called and asked if there was an issue and they said "no it will be there in 7 to 8 minutes. 45 minute mark, still no driver. Call again "oh hes almost there mam hes on whoop up drive now" (that is about ten minutes away from where I was). 55 minute mark I get a text saying I can now track my driver, which I see him driving in a different residential area which appeared as though dropping someone else off, still about 10 minutes away in a different direction. At this point I call another cab service (94 cabs, awesome company highly recommend) who says 10-15 minutes. 65 minutes in a cab driver phones me saying "hey mam I am near your house do you still need a cab?" 65 minutes and he is still not even near my house. I said I would see him soon. other cab comes and picks me up (took them 7 minutes to get to me, again, use 94 cabs not fifth ave), I can no longer see the cab driver on the track my cab link. He never showed up. an hour and 45 minus later I get a text letting me know my cab is on the way and I can track its progress. thats almost TWO HOURS I waited for my cab as they repeatedly told me it was "almost there". If there is an issue, fine. tell me what it is and let me decide if I can wait another two hours for my ride. Dont lie to me and waste my time. OH AND, their number says its a local number, but apparently this has been told and it automatically conntects you to calgary, meaning when you call them, not only do they have the worlds worst service, but they also charge you long distance fees. HORRIBLE COMPANY.

I had Joe take me from my home to the mall so I could work. I called relatively late and he STILL accommodated and did an excellent job!! 5/5 for communication 5/5 for safe driving 5/5 for generosity and kindness 5/5 for reliability Just excellent overall and I will be back. He even told me about the cab service’s app! He even showed me a picture of his cat ?

called at 6:17 & was told there was a 20 minute wait, went & showered to get ready for work & whatever & the cab still isnt here so i called back & asked how long & was told that hes on his way in 10 more minutes by then its already 6:45am finally get the link so i can see the driver & hes far deep on the west side. ao i waited the 20 more minutes for the driver to get my house & goes to the wrong house so i called dispatch told me that he was outside so i stood outside anyways, still never showed back up to the correct address. so i canceled the cab. dont even wanna give one star would hands down call someone else.

Being disabled, I was disappointed that I had to load my walker into the trunk of the cab while the ablebodied driver just sat in the car. Same thing at my destination. What ever happened to common courtesy?

Absolutely useless. Unprofessional. Always late. Some of the employed drivers have questionable deportment or don't speak good English or have any sense of direction. The dispatcher constantly lies when it comes to timing. Too many times I've got told 15 minutes and then it's 30 minutes and then 45 minutes... he lies to appease me and then wastes my time. It's almost cost me my job. I hope this review costs him his job. I hope they go out of business entirely via Boycott.

Not really sure what is up with cabs lately but don’t tell a customer you’re going to be 15 minutes, then when I call back another 5, and now it’s been 50 MINUTES?? I’ve missed many important times to be places because these companies don’t know how to manage time properly or simply be honest with wait times. I don’t care if you’re worried about losing a customer due to a long time, be more worried about losing a customer due to being dishonest and making them wait over an hour for a ride.

I have been using their cab company past year. Today I order cab there app for 10:10. My cab didn’t show up until 10:45. I order my cab around 9:30. Like that just ridiculous. I called dispatch asking how far it is. First time they told me 5 minutes. The cabs didn’t show up. Second time I called them same guy may I add said 10 minutes. I wait 10 minutes no cab and no text message about it there way. I called one more time they hunged up on me. So I kept calling until they answer they never did may I add. I finally got my notification say it’s 8 minutes away. So I waited another 8 minutes. This definitely not first time. It has happened atleast 3 times. I try be understanding they get busy but they had 30 minutes firgue out which cab to pick me up. Cab drive who picked me up said he got dispatched at 10:29 to come get me. Like this a joke? So next time tell me the truth instead wasting my time. This gonna be last cab company I’m gonna use for now

I ordered a cab through the app, it never showed up. So I called them, asked why my ride was cancelled, I was told "driver couldn't find you" I was standing outside the whole time, so I clarify that I am standing outside with my child and that I am outside Catwalk Salon, they apologize and send another cab. Same thing happened. No cab showed up. Through the tracking system I was able to see that both of these cabs were no where near Catwalk Salon when they said they were. At this point Ive been outside for 30 minutes with my little one and freezing cold wind. I called again and reiterated I was outside Catwalk and that I had my little one with me. They apologized and sent another one. I flagged this one down, and he drove off after looking at me and my son (who is now red and shivering from the cold) I called the company when I got home to complain. They kept telling me I typed the address wrong when I typed the word Catwalk Salon and double checked the address to ensure it was correct and had called twice to confirm the address. Dispatch started arguing with me over this. Finally dispatch said they would pass this complaint to their manager. *The whole time I was outside with my little one was just over an hour. *My son had a thick blanket and he was still shivering. *This happened on April 5th, 2022.
