94 Cabs was established in November 2018 with a fleet of just 4 Toyota Camry sedans and a commitment to serve the needs of our Lethbridge customers and a goal of being the best taxi service. The company quickly became Lethbridge’s Highest Google Rated Taxi Company and has experienced steady growth to where we are today, a fleet of over 15 newer model sedans, suvs and vans. The company is locally owned and locally engaged in the City of Lethbridge.

Back in the fall of 2018, Ride Sharing with part time drivers hoping to make a buck, had recently come on the scene, taking local money from our economy to a global conglomerate. Cars picked up from auction marts were on the road running as taxis. Knowing that Lethbridge and the surrounding area deserved better from someone who cared, turned a dream to a vision and a vision into the birth of 94Cabs. Our goal was to serve residents, businesses, tourists and visitors, as the Premier Taxi Cab Company in Lethbridge. Since our very beginning in November of 2018, when we started with just 4 NEW Toyota Camry sedans, 94Cabs has provided 24/7 in town service and soon added service to other parts of Alberta, BC and Saskatchewan. We have always been committed to customers with the best and most comfortable rides. We believed that our competitive rates made us cheaper than most competitors. We also offered airport service, to and from, as well as advance bookings by the day, week or the month. When you booked a ride with us, we delivered peace of mind.

Fast forward to March 2020…Covid-19 hits Alberta and 94Cabs decides instead of cutting back, it was time to forge ahead. With strict protocols in place we offered safe sanitized rides. 94Cabs was recognized as a leader in safe transport as we saw numerous referral calls from test facilities and other health related businesses. Then as the first lockdown ended we saw a need to expand. We brought on our first minivan and teamed up with drivers, beginning an owner operator fleet. That July saw us part ways with our original Camry sedans as we upgraded to brand spanking new sedans and our first SUVs. We also brought on more vans.

Jump again, this time to the spring of 2021 as we announced the opening of 94Shuttles. Intended for special events, and longer distance contract travel, 94Shuttles aimed to tackle safe rides from weddings and other special events. We started a fleet that wasn’t as brightly decaled, for a more “private” ride. We brought on a Classic car to add to this fleet, a Lincoln Cosmopolitan with local history; originally purchased in 1951 from a Lethbridge Dealership.

This was followed by more new cars. We added 2021 Toyota Rav4’s as well as a 2021 Nissan Rogue, an owner operated 2021 Toyota Hybrid Camry followed by a 2021 Sienna Hybrid van…. and there is more good news on the way.

Today, 94Cabs is the Highest Google Rated Taxi service in Lethbridge with a long list of positive reviews. We have held this claim since very shortly after opening our doors and we continue to strive to do better and offer more each and every day. Our professional drivers come to us with a Class 4 Professional Driver License. They are required to provide a five year abstract with minimal points, both professionally and personally, over any given 5 year period. This is the minimum mandated requirement. We then go further by working closely with our insurance provider to ensure that our drivers do not have a history of multiple motor vehicle accidents or driving infractions from anywhere within Canada over their driving careers. We then recognize any extra driver training applicants may have had from Class one Tractor Trailer units ( we have several Class 1 license drivers), to Class 2 Commercial Bus Drivers (we have some of these folks too), to professional Class 4 Taxi, Limousine and Emergency Vehicles (yup police and ambulance paramedics too on top of taxi drivers with over 30 years experience driving customers).
