The instructor gets right to the point and doesn't bother with moves that are just for show. The self-defence techniques he teaches (a wide variety of basic to advanced moves) are straight forward and for realistic situations. He also actually takes the time to make sure you understand the moves, the different ways you can use them, the pros and cons behind them, and even considers each person's capabilities, goals, and fitness levels. If one of us had a lot of trouble doing a technique, he'd show them different ways of doing it and exercises they should practice that would help. After just a short time training here I felt confident I could actually do something to defend myself in an emergency. Definitely worth it.

P	Philippe Campbell (Phil) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent club to learn the most practical and effective self-defense techniques which are pulled apart from multiple martial art styles and formed into one. Rob does an excellent job at demonstrating the movements that he teaches and can justify them as in why and how each of these technique are used for whichever possible scenario that may occur. One of the biggest aspects that I enjoyed the most was the verity of training that we did. Every class was always different either by learning new techniques or by building off of the ones that we have already learned. I have a background in karate and I really enjoyed learning how to modify what I have already learned and implementing tons of new concepts and techniques to make myself a better fighter. I would definitely recommend this club to anyone who is either new or experienced in martial arts which their goal is to learn and/or improve themselves in self-defense.

I highly recommend this for the whole family. We've improved our fitness and confidence. Rob has taught us to be much more aware of our surroundings and given my son and I tools to better handle confrontational situations.

He is very patient with the individual so they are comfortable with certain self defense maneuvers. I would highly recommend this place for working on increased flexibility, self confidence and to be able to defend yourself if you have to.
