S	Sabine Bones on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been coming to this store for years and have nothing but high praise. Full of wonderful finds for all shapes and sizes, I find that no matter when I visit or who I bring with me, there's always a hidden treasure to be found. Items sold here tend to be of quality and it's not hard to find a total steal. Also great for providing for costuming needs, gowns, ethnic clothing, accessories, and pretty much anything under the sun. Out of all of the independent used and new clothing stores I've been to, I'd also argue that Exile has one of the largest selections available. All in all, it is always a total pleasure to shop here, and I look forward to visiting again in the future!

N	Natalia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would not even give this place a 1 star if I could. Absolutely DISGUSTING and unprofessional staff, I actually felt so uncomfortable throughout my entire experience. Creepy shopkeeper was staring at us women the entire time, watching our every move and making weird comments such as “there are way too many of you here.” We were trying on glasses and he was following us to ask if we were going to buy them. Once we purchased another item, he started shouting saying glasses were missing and accusing us of stealing even though we were in his view the whole time and multiple people were trying on glasses. I know he didn’t see us take anything, it was just a way for him to assert his authority and cause a scene. He started asking me about other customers and publicly humiliating us, I asked him to check the cameras and then he shut up. Trash staff and even worse priced items, I will never shop there again and urge everyone else not to.

He harassed me and my two female friends and accused US of stealing sunglasses by shouting at us in front of other customers, despite other customers trying on glasses too in front of him AND despite us purchasing an item (which we now regret). We stood our ground and managed to leave the store, however I can’t even imagine how someone would feel if they were alone and haggled by that man. What a clown. Don’t manage a store if you’re going to harass your customers for trying on your items. No one wants to steal your $15 sunglasses. Don’t waste your time going there.
V	Vanda Urbanellis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely pushy worker, haggling over shoppers while being very accusatory. The salesman watched us try sunglasses on like a hawk and kept making weird comments to myself and all the other girls. I made a purchase and he proceeded to accuse my friends that there was a pair of glasses missing… despite us hovering over the counter in front of him for at least 15 minute and my buying items. He continued to belittle us and yell at us in front of the whole store, while there were many others trying items and glasses on besides us. The first item I picked up and was going to buy (that I did buy) he wouldn't even let me walk around with it.. Very off putting, and totally understand that there are il-intended people out there but that does not give someone the right to degrade people who are trying to enjoy your store. Will not be shopping here again and strongly urge others in toronto to thrift shop elsewhere. Super underwhelming at that too. Not even worth stealing from that’s for sure ?

She kept it open late for us, talked to us about where we're from and who we are, she was super inclusive and found some clothes she thought we'd like... I couldn't be happier in a clothing store, and if you're ever in Toronto you absolutely have to check them out! They have an etsy and an insta as well

If you've got a themed party or are looking for costumes, this is the place to go! Rose helped me and she was so kind. She helped me find a piece that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!
