★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So, I paid at least $50 to get a grey leather belt made, but I got a vinyl one instead. Been meaning to write this, as this took place two years ago. Phone calls, and I showed up at least twice at the agreed upon time to pick up, but belt not done. Finally, I picked up what he had when I was in a hurry, and the finished belt looks rather cheap. Anyways, be wary of someone passing off vinyl as leather.

After ordering a pair of suspenders for my wedding on Etsy, they showed up late and looking nothing like what I'd ordered. I was on a time crunch when somebody recommended I check out Casta Brava. One week later I was on a flight to Mexico with a nicer pair of suspenders than I'd ever expected.
Al was thorough in our discussion about what I was looking for, walked me through stylw and hardware options, allowed me to pick the leather colour, and even stitched up a sample before he'd let me leave. He was right on time for the scheduled pick up, and even called the day before to confirm everything because he knew I had a flight to catch.
Overall, the product and service were both excellent, and the price was very fair. I'll be recommending and visiting Casta Brava for all my leather needs going forward.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a leather jacket here when I was in my early 20s. I’m now 34 and still wearing this amazing leather jacket. It is literally one of the only things in my life that lasted quite this long. I don’t even remember it being that expensive at the time. Also this guy makes custom leather things of all kinds. Pay for the quality! They even sell red leather dresses. Can you even believe that? Red leather dresses. Think about it! This is a real review. Not solicited or anything. Also people started commenting on the jacket only once that became in fashion a few years ago. Fashion is temporary, style is eternal! Buy leather!

The original bracelet I chose didn’t fit right, so he just made one for me right then. His hilarious taste in leather shaping and crafting is cutting-edge and I hope to go there soon.
