Susy has been cutting my hair at Evoke for years and sheโ€™s seen me through some major changes including a fringe/bangs (she offers bang trims between cuts) and a short bob. Iโ€™ve always come out feeling more confident then I did walking in. The salon is meticulously clean, carries eco friendly haircare products, and booking is always easy. Iโ€™ve been in to get my haircut during the pandemic, and the experience felt incredibly safe. Highly recommend Susy and evoke salon in general!

I was a client of Evoke salon for years. Three weeks ago I tried to book an appointment for my daughter to get a haircut with Helen. To my surprise nobody picks up calls anymore but a recorded message directs clients to use their website for booking or to leave a voicemail message for the desired stylist to call back. I left a msg for Helen but didnโ€™t ever get a call back. So I used the website to book the appointment for this afternoon at 1:15pm. Upon our arrival at the Salon a few minutes before that time there were 2 hairstylists attending clients and no receptionist. None of them greated us or even acknowledged our presence there. We waited for a few minutes and another client came in followed by another one as well. They were greeted and told the hairstylist Helen they both were there for the same appointment time as my daughter. When I went to talk to Helen to let her know that we were also there for that time slot she kept questioning whether I had really booked the appointment. Her attitude and words put me on the spot and made me feel she was trying to blame me for the mishap. Three clients booked online appointments for the same time slot. Itโ€™s clearly a system glitch, not clientโ€™s lack of computer proficiency. Instead of showing understanding, respect and addressing the situation with professionalism Helen was blasรฉ when I told her how upsetting that was for me as a client. I have mobility issues and had to leave work to drive my daughter there. That DOES make it that much harder for me. I would appreciate if there was an actual person I could speak to to book appointments, make complaints and such. Also it would be great if I was properly greeted upon arrival. I would appreciate being given an apology for the fiasco instead of the blatant lack of respect and support Helen showed. Over the years I have recommended Evoke salon to many people in my network. Now I not only will never go there again but would like the owner to know this booking system is flawed and the treatment clients get is subpar to say the least.

This was my first time going to Evoke and I had an appointment with Jon who was recommended as being a good choice for short hair. Jon was wonderful, we had a great time chatting while he worked his magic and I walked away an amazing haircut! 10/10 recommending to anyone reading this, I look forward to future visits.

This was my first time at Evoke and it did not disappoint. Jon is an incredible stylist and knew what I wanted before I even said anything. He understood my hair and lifestyle and was able to give me a great cut. Highly recommend Evoke! (+ their Sustainability practices are incredible - win, win!)

Had a great first experience at Evoke with Susy. Iโ€™d gotten a pixie cut done at a different salon that didnโ€™t go well and needed fixing. Susy did an excellent job correcting the previous stylistโ€™s errors. I have very fine, very straight hair so having the layers cut correctly makes a big difference and Susy was great at making it look chic, stylish, and well-cut! Now Iโ€™m actually enjoying my pixie cut instead of tolerating it. Will definitely be back. Thanks Susy!
