★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stopped going to my regular hair salon (Big Name salon near Bloor West/Windermere) after the rude service I received. I wanted to get my hair done, but I didn't have time to research another salon close by. My Mom booked me with Ala. I really didn't know what to expect, other then that my mom loves this place.
What I received was great service, an experienced hair stylist, name brand and quality products and a salon that leaves a client looking forward to their next visit.
My favorite part was the shampooing and conditioning. She did an amazing head/neck massage with amazing smelling hair products. I would pay just to get my hair washed.
Ala has been in the neighborhood for over a dozen years and it seems like she's built up a decent reputation. I've learnt my lesson about over priced name brand Salons on Bloor. You'll get better service from Ala then any place in Bloor West.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ala is an amazing and wonderful hair stylist. She always gives you her full attention, doesn't overbook and is always on time. She also is amazing with hair. After my visits I feel fresh, relaxed, and gorgeous. She's gotta a no-nonsense kinda attitude which is perfect for the working person or busy mama! I've been going to her for years and there is not one reason to switch.
