It was first experience and it was very good. I did a highlight and a straight hair cut. It was nicely and she gave me suggestions which turned out really good

I saw an advertisement at Basics and decided to make an appointment. Bina did an excellent job and she cut my hair and it is falling into place. Alot of places I had been the hairdresser was not concentrated on my hair, they got sidetracked with chatting with others or answering the phone. Bina cut my hair in 30 minutes and was 100 percent there. Thank you so much.

Bina cuts my hair very well. She takes her time, cuts it just how I want it, trims up the sides and back perfectly so my hair looks even and neat from all angles. Her rates are very reasonable and she provides excellent value for her professional service. I recommend her highly!

I saw the positive reviews and took my chance. The place is unassuming but incredibly clean and cozy on the inside. The owner is extremely attentive, caring and knows her craft. She patiently listened to what I need and then explained what she recommends and why. Having explained it, she then proceeded to execute with precision and perfection. I have long curly hair and was a bit nervous as I've not had the best of experiences in the city and the results have never justified the price. Trendz is very reasonably priced and the services are on par with pricey salons. This one is by far the best hair styling I've had!! Have been getting gushing compliments from everyone around and needles to say, I'm pleased and highly recommend this spot!! I sure will be returning.

It was the 4th of July and me, my mother, and my brother had an appointment at 2:00. The salon was closing at 4, so she decided to cram us in along with some other customers, which wasn't a good idea....Upon entering the salon, I noticed it was very clean and cozy. The hairdresser, Beena, started working on my mother's hair, but I don't understand why she never offered to wash her hair first. It was obvious my mother needed her hair washed, but she continued to go ahead and cut my mother's unwashed hair! She did cut her hair well, but that's all. And she was charged $25. My mother should have been charged $18., because the sign outside the salon advertises Women's hair cut is $18. Men's cut is $15. She never offered to wash my brother's hair either. All she did was quickly cut his hair and he was charged $20. He should have been charged $15. I showed her a photo of the hairstyle I wanted several times, but she still did not cut my unwashed hair exactly the way I wanted. I was charged $30. Why was I charged $5. more than my mother? Our hairstyles are very alike. I should have been charged $18. too! If all she did was cut our hair without a wash, she should have charged the amounts advertised, no more! The sign should read, "Wash not included." And the fees for only cutting women's hair should be flat rates; they shouldn't fluctuate! It's misleading. We weren't given enough attention because all she cared about was taking on as many customers as possible that afternoon. Cutting corners and overcharging is no way to keep customers. I'm not returning and I don't think my mother and my brother are returning either!

This was an awesome experience! After a year or more without a hair cut, my thick curly locks were just outta control. They did an amazing job, listened carefully to what I was looking for, and offered great recommendations for cut and product. Will be back 100%. Thanks so much for the great experience!! :)

I don't know why this good reviews but my experience was horrible, I had to go to another salon to fix what the old lady did to my hair. Maybe I had a different hair cut person but if you find an old lady in the salon please don't stay as you will waste your money!

Absolutely lovely time, I went for a cut and brought my little cousin for one as well. She is so obsessed with her new look and her confidence is showing, thank you so much! I love my trim too... we will be back!
