★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Home inspector was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. however about a year after the inspection we noticed some water damage near a dryer exhaust , after further inspection we noticed the dryer vent was not attached to the exterior exhaust.This was catching water and condensation from the dryer and pumping into the walls . We discovered the entire exterior wall of the house was rotted and filled with mold in a 9 year old house. It seems when the cobtractor installed the ventilation system they didnt not connect the pipe to the exterior wall. The entire wall needed to be reframed and rebuilt. This whole issue could have been avoided if the dryer exhaust vent was simply inspected. When I inspected the vent it was clearly visible that the pipe wasn't attached, and when I touched the vent water poured out
. After speaking with the home inspector they indicated they don't look at every exhaust in a house and do the best they can in the time they have. It's extremely unfortunate to have to foot the entire bill for something that would have taken 5 mins to inspect. I understand mistakes happen but in my opinion all exhaust from a house should be checked . I have 8 month old baby and the mold was growing up her walls where she sleeps.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I chose EnerOne because of the reviews. I needed a home inspection on a house I bought in Gravenhurst. I was told that the inspection would take 4 hours and it did. It wasn’t because the house was bad it was because EnerOne gives you what they promise. The final report was more detailed than a promise from a politician! Derrick is the one to do the job. He is amazing at what he does and great guy.
