I went for trans rectal ultra sound Nov 19. the tech was awesome. Two months ago I was sent to different clinic and the tech was late, rough and totally lacking any empathy and actually scared me. I declined the test. Ellesmere was a breath of fresh air. The tech was on time, listened to my concerns and pretty much assured me things would go well. In and out in 10 minutes or less. Hopefully I never have to go back but if required I will ask for Ellesmere X-ray.

I expressed my displeasure to the technologist who was doing my mammogram for having me wait 10 minutes from my appointed time. As this prolonged my exposure to all their incoming clients, and vice-versa. She told me something about her previous client before me (which I wouldn't know about) and the sanitizing she needed to do, but was never apologetic. She never explained to me the usual procedure regarding the wearing of their gown nor which room to go to so I waited outside the changeroom to see if she's going to come back to get me. When we were in the room, she told me to remove my gown and where to stand, and remained quiet during my procedure. Never explaining what she was doing. After my last imaging, I stood where I was for a few minutes. She didn't even tell me that I could sit and put back my gown while she checks if all the images were acceptable. Then she told me that I am done. As I was putting back my gown, she proceeded to tell me, "Thank you for NOT being nice to me..." That I should understand she had a client prior to myself and the sanitizing she needed to do due to COVID19. My thought: COVID19 has been existing over a year now, have you not incorporated the time needed to do the sanitizing after each patient in the scheduling of your appointments? Your staff should be mindful of the schedules you make and the time of your clients. PS: I've had numerous procedures done here in the past and have never experienced this kind of unprofessionalism and curtness from their staff.

The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful to get me in for my appointment. Over and above patient service. ?

Recently brought my grandma in for a mammogram and ultra sound. The staff was really kind and helpful, but most of all caring towards her as well (she's 83). Sometimes the littlest bit goes a long way. Thanks to all staff! Especially Natlie (mammogram tech)

This lab is very well and efficiently run. I like their electronic voice reminder on my phone. The lab was very responsible and diligent in following up with me when the radiologist asked for additional X-ray views and re-ultrasound. The receptionist, Tina, was very good in checking with Administration whether I meet the screening requirement to come in due to my special circumstance as a health care provider working with Covid patients. I never had to wait for more than 5 minutes before I was called in. The mammogram technicians, Melanie and Natalie, are both very nice and caring. The mammogram did not hurt much and was respectfully done. The only suggestion to improve the experience, like I said last time, is that it would be good if all the technicians (x-rays, mammogram, and ultrasound inclusive) would introduce themselves and their names as soon as they greet the patient, and before they tell the patient where to change, or to lie down etc. Melanie and Natalie are both very nice and friendly, and so, I ventured to ask for their names, but I had no clue the names of the ultrasound technicians. If it is too much for them to repeat their names to patients all day long, have them wear large, visible, easy to read name tags. Thanks.

My daughter was scheduled for an ultrasound and mammogram here for a new lump. Even though there was some confusion with scheduling, the mammogram tech, Rache, was thoughtful and kind as she walked us through the process. She took the time to explain best practices and kept us informed and updated. She made a stressful situation a little less anxiety provoking. Thank you! Kristin & Alex

Yesterday I phoned Ellesmere X-Ray to ask for appointments for X-ray and ultrasound. I was given a time for today, April 6. When I arrived and after filling out the Covid pre-screening form, I was told X-ray was not possible because they were getting a new X-ray machine. I could only get ultrasound. Then I said why did they just yesterday gave me an appointment for X-ray as well. Very very unprofessional. I wanted to have both done at the same time at the same place. Their new X-ray would not be available until April 11. I said I could not wait that long and I left.

This place was organized and I was able to email for an appointment request no problem! My radiologist was named Paula and she was friendly, on time, and totally made me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place and Paula, especially if you're not comfortable with mammograms or exams. She is professional and puts you right at ease.
