Sadly I've purchased my last EB product. In 2020 I bought a downfilled jacket and subsequently had issues with the zipper catching and ripping the jacket. I brought the jacket in confident that they would be able to sort this out for me. EB stands behind their products right? A zipper that continually catches and rips the jacket isn't the way the product is supposed to operate right? WRONG AND WRONG. I had not kept the receipt (months after the purchase) and the manager recommended I get the tailor in the mall to patch the jacket (as a sewer myself I knew this was not going to be a long term solution). No offer to replace the jacket, refund not possible. You pay top dollar for EB products. Save your money and buy something else (any quality manufacturer will stand behind their product receipt or not) and resolve the issue. NOT EB!! Be forewarned.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid. Manger is Head Professor at the Satanic School of Customer Service. GOD forbid you return a jacket that broke within weeks- REPENT. Staff were really nice but privately apologized for the unprofessional conduct of the manager.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My big complaint about Eddie Bauer is that they have two different prices on their clothing items, one Canadian and one US. The Canadian dollar price is always at least $20 more than the US. It makes you feel like you are getting ripped off. Just price them in Canadian dollars!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very very rude cashier. When we tried to return a jacket, I was continuously asked if I used it or tried to return it before, even after saying no multiple times. When I asked to stop asking same questions again and again, she rudely said she would not take the jacket back, which felt very bad. Did not expect such behavior from such brand. Will never return to this store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this store. Although it can be quite expensive being an American company. Sometimes, currency conversions can really hurt. In my experience, I always find great deals here, very often 50% off. Which brings those mental prices back to reality. The clothes are very high quality though, and so soft.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited the Mayfair Mall location and found the selection to be good. EB has pretty high prices but they also have regular sales. I have never gone wrong just waiting for something to come on sale. Patience pays off.
EB products have been good to me. Quality stuff that wears well and an excellent guarantee with little to no hassle if you need something taken care of. The staff have always acted reasonably with me in these situations.
I tend to visit the downtown store because they allow you to bring your dog with you, while Mayfair Mall has a no dog policy.
