V	Verne Rosenberg on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was absolutely amazed with Fabio in the service department. He listened to my problems I had with with an older La Scala Butterfly espresso machine. He then confirmed the diagnosis and explained what was needed to be done to repair it. He explained how I could do it myself or that I could bring it in to have it serviced and repaired. He told me to be sure, I should email some pictures and he could look at it to see if he had the parts I needed. Within the hour I had my answer. I was totally shocked at how eager he was to share his knowledge, how professional and patient he was with me! Can't go wrong with professional, polite service!

The store is well laid out and the staff are great. We have dealt with 3 different companies in Vancouver and ECM definitely gives the best service and they have a great selection of products in their showroom. Highly recommend!

And usually bad reviews are more common because a company didn't fulfill a customer's expectations. I am giving ECM a 5* rating because of how they handled a bad experience. We bought a semi-automatic machine from Tom many years ago and when it became unrepairable we upgraded to the Oscar Simonelli Nuova. We love this machine! And thus, we USE it. It is now several years old. We had an issue with a locked knob and took it in for repair. It took too long and turned out that it wasn't repaired properly. I just took it back and expressed my frustration to Tom and he turned me over to Fabio in the repair department who, although repairs were taking 1-2 weeks, fixed it immediately. He apologized that they had had some issues with a technician and pointed out the problem while he repaired it. I am confident that the machine is as good as new. There was no charge and no wait. This is a good company that you can trust will stand behind their products and accept responsibility for their work. We will continue to support ECM and recommend them to anyone who loves all things coffee! Kate Allard

I will definitely purchase my next machine from here when the time comes. 2021 update, well our now 18 year old Saeco has finally packed it in. Rory was extremely thorough spending 40 minutes trying to diagnose the old Italia machine and the probability of successful outcome before taking it in for repairs. Unfortunately the old machine was beyond a lasting repair. As a caffeine addict I knew I could not leave without a working coffee machine. Rory handed me off to John in sales to compare which machine would be best for our families caffeine needs. 90 minutes of asking questions tasting coffee's and comparing features I confidentially decided on another Saeco machine, this time the Xelsis. It's been almost a week with the new machine and all I can say is I wish our our old machine broke sooner, the Xelsis is an absolutely amazing easy to use/program fully automatic coffee machine. Thank you ECM.

From the first interchange with Brian, it was clear to me I was speaking with someone who knew coffee and what goes behind making excellent espresso. Brian did a fantastic job of explaining my options and the features of the units even though it was close to the end of the day on a Friday, everyone was happy to assist with the sale. What I appreciate most is that it made no difference to him what machine I was considering, he would explain the features of each and let me choose. No pressure. Nice! I purchased a Simonelli Oscar II. A splurge with a Simonelli grinder to boot (there was a promotion) and there were even extras I didn't expect. While happy with the service on the web and over email. I am thrilled with the in person and after sales service. That to me is what makes such a difference. We have had this lovely machine for a month and a half and the unit makes amazing coffee. I am the king of coffee again. LOL. Today (Saturday) however, I was doing the regular maintenance and had an issue with the cleaning process on the machine. I had Brian's card from when I bought the machine. Brian wasn't available and even though I didn't leave a message. Brian called me right back, recalled the machine I bought and explained some of the behaviour of the machine to help me with the cleaning cycle in future. Again, happy to help. He could have easily ignored my call. I didn't leave a message. But he wanted to help. You can't buy service like that. I comes from people who are passionate about what they do. Thanks Brian!

Amazing!!!! I left with my coffee maker in hand. Polite, extremely knowledgeable, and simply THE best place to get any repairs on your machine. Very happy with these guys.
