I come here almost daily. To stare at the brown grass... sit on a bench and contemplate. Skyscrapers go up around me. And this little park, as pathetic looking as it is, will probably in time be ravaged by developers to satisfy their greed. Vancouver, marketed as a green city...now a concrete jungle. Come to Eburne Park, sit down, spare a moment of silence for this soulless city.

Small park adjacent to the busy oak bridge on and off ramps. Most of the park is taken up by public tennis courts but there is a small enough area to enjoy with your dog or the Sun during the summer. The park itself can be very unclean as cigarette butts litter the the sidewalk areas and laneway to the east. Even still what remains of the flowering trees and welcome to Vancouver sign make up for alot of the rubbish.

Based on my personal experience that is my opinion: Meh! Could be better! Too noisy. I suggest plant more trees and maybe cede an area for a coffee shop. Too small. It is good to bring dogs. That is it. It is not well maintained. Must be cleaned up. Cigarette butts litter the sidewalk areas and rubbish. There is a public tennis court though, you can play if you do not care about the cars, and sirens and buses.

4 tennis courts recently resealed, not resurfaced. Lines have been painted recently and are visible. The courts are flat and generally in good condition. The down side is the terrific traffic noise. The noise never stops! Bring hearing protection if you use these tennis courts.

This place was ranked lowest out of all or Vancouver's parks. Brosef was dead wrong. Sure the park has only some shade and benches, and the tennis courts alone aren't what makes this place 3 stars. It's the only park with a view of the Oak Street bridge. I know it's not much but it is nice at nights to watch the traffic and feel the wind coming up from the river.

A few benches to sit and watch people play tennis which can be quite entertaining. There is also a view of the Oak bridge.

A good place to play tennis as the courts here are in very good condition. It is located beside a busy highway, so it can get quite noisy. The tennis courts are surrounded by grass and a few trees. Lots of parking nearby. Dominated by four tennis courts, Eburne Park sits in the heart of the Marpole neighbourhood. Sprawling cherry trees put on a fantastic show in spring; spots to sit and relax are pleasant all year. My recommendation to Vancouver Parks is to plant more trees along Oak street and Marine drive to reduce the noise. Maybe create a small forest. Then this place would be much better.
