I'm a mechanic also and it's refreshing to see this level of skill and knowledge at another shop.

Capable to work on everything from classics cars to warranty approved new vehicles. and the best part is it’s always him doing the work not some new apprentice. Highly recommend him

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have the receipt from this experience. Happy to scan it to anyone who's interested. Craig's rebuttal is nonsense. I went to NZ Auto when they were on Hastings St. It was recommended that I see Craig/N Z Auto Works by a man who has several older cars in immaculate condition. Craig was awful. Charged me more than $400 for nothing. It was a diagnostic visit, first time, to find out why my ABS wasn't working on my '87 Mercedes 300. Instead of figuring it out, he disconnected the ABS. Not only that, he STOLE my mother's change purse I had hidden in the spare tire wheel well. Disgusting. I confronted him. His reply was "Did you check the wheel well." Odd response unless you were in the wheel well and found the green change purse. Not only did he steal it, it belonged to my mom who had passed away. NEVER go to this mechanic. There are lots of mechanics who can work on your car with great results. Beware Craig @ NZ (New Zealand) Auto Works. Stay away.
