★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This stone cairn acknowledges the First Nations' Marpole Midden which was discovered in 1889 during the extension of Granville Street. Many tools, weapons and important artifacts were found in what proved to be one of the largest village sites discovered in North America.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting. More interesting that we had a Musqueam local guide tell us his stories and history of it. Look out for a guided Marpole walk that takes place this time each summer.
