★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Etienne is a wealth of information. Used the shuttle service to start our canoe trip. Pickup at the mouth of the Ottawa river is the best! Great base for our trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and cosy lodge in the middle of the woods. It's an unsurfaced road to come there, but easy to drive. From the window you can see the Ottawa river, but there are pines in sight.
Further, it's nice and quiet here and trails start just behind the house.

Despite a few hick-ups (primarily as a result of COVID), which resulted in us having to stay in a hotel, we did genuinely enjoy our stay and were treated extremely well. The hosts are lovely and went above and beyond to accommodate us.
Its a lovely little retreat in nature that is truly unique. Overall, we had a great summer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our stay was a wonderful experience for our family! Setting up the booking was seamless. Etienne was friendly, informative, and helpful. The owners went above and beyond to make sure that our trip was perfect. We arrived on a very hot day and the a/c was already turned on. The owners have a keen attention to detail and offer outstanding hospitality. The cottage was set back from the waterfront up on a hill providing spectacular views of the Ottawa River. We enjoyed that the cottage was a bit further from the beach to make sure that our kids would not have direct access to water. That being said, the beach was easy to drive right up to and we enjoyed tons of fun at the beach. The serene view was amazing to wake up to in a comfortable, clean, and well stocked cottage. Situated on a beautiful property with peaceful and secluded trails that can be enjoyed by the entire family. Ideal for a relaxing getaway for a fully immersive nature experience. Highly recommend!

My buddy and I rode snowmobiles in Western Quebec. We spent our second night at Valley Guides in a nice comfortable cabin. The accommodations were excellent, clean, impeccable. The owners were kind and caring. They went out of their way to provide and incredible meal after a long day on the trails, it was fabulous. You can tell they really cared about the people that chose to stay with them.
The breakfast in the morning was right on time and absolutely delicious. It got us off on our long day of over 300 miles on the trail.
I plan to visit again very soon and highly recommend the facility.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Etienne at Dumoine Valley Guides gave us great service at a reasonable cost. He was reliable & competent. They had some good cabins we were able to use, they cooked us a decent breakfast. I'd use their services again with out hesitation.
