★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was a great dental practice for quite a while, up until recently they started to charge way more than the usual BC fee guidelines. Even if you have dental plan that covers everything, you will have to pay like 30% extra. Their estimates are way off too, my kid was expected to do two simple procedures, then you go in and it turns out it's like 5 procedures and didn't call for approval, and just does it, then slaps the $2500 bill. Even with dental plan, still have to pay hundreds, very shady practice...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just got back from my yearly checkup. I was pleased to see that Dogwood Dental is practicing safe Covid19 protocols. It was great to see the amazing team again. They always make me feel welcome. They ease any worry and are always upfront about future procedures needed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great practice. The team is so friendly and professional. They really make you feel welcome! I don’t think anyone LIKES going to the dentist— but here they certainly make it a comfortable experience. Also love the post-cards on the ceilings, it is a unique touch :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been seeing Jane and her team for over 20 years. Likely over 30 visits. From cleanings to installing gold feelings in my molars, all my experiences have been great. Staff is prompt, professional, clean and caring. The office is kept very clean, as is the equipment. They keep up-to-date with the latest technologies including x-rays and microscopes. They are very thorough and explain things well. I would highly recommend Dogwood if you're looking for a new dentist.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my family haven't been a client for almost 6 months, but my daughter is still afraid going to a dentist after having work done here. Granted she was rather reluctant going to a dentist before coming over to Dogwood (we didn't have the best luck in getting one here that works for us), but after a few visits here she is downright afraid of all dentists and is begging me to leave a negative review *even after all this time*. Just think of it.. 6 months after work done and the kid still goes to bed crying at times.
So yeah, not the best place for an 11 year old child.
I personally had an okey(ish) experience here, although the work was much rougher than the dentist I was used to in Calgary and the amount of work being pushed on me and everyone in our family seemed excessive (and it was as we later found out).
