★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cobs bread are not only the best for their taste, but also for their staff.
We were home after a daily trip to cobs bread when we heard a knock on the door. We opened it to see a gentleman - Warren Fergus, the manager from Cobs in Royal Oak. He made the trip to bring us the wallet we forgot at his branch. Can you believe it?
This truly is a reflection on any of the stores he manages.
We hardly have the words to express our deep and sincere gratitude to Warren and the rest of the amazing people at the Royal Oak's Cobs in a Saanich.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hardly ever leave reviews but this was the worst quality cinnamon bun I've had in terms of the wrapper / liner being baked right into the dough of the bun! I'm so surprised since they always had great cinnamon buns. Perhaps it's a new employee who needs a lot more training?! It ruined my appetite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I liked everything about the arabiata pizza and would be a regular customer if it had not been so HOT spiced. It is very much appreciated when more vegan options are offered but when the only one available is so hot that you can not enjoy the pizza it is disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced!!!!! The clerk yelled at me as I was close to the outside door frame. I understand there are only 2 customers at a time during covid, but I WAS outside!!! After she yelled at me a second time, I walked away. I refuse to give a store my business after being treated like that! Too bad, as I was a loyal customer. I will not go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This one does not maintain the standards of other Cobs Bakeries. Their dinner rolls and buns are always dense and much smaller than at other stores. Once I got one that was the size of a timbit. Absolutely no quality control.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a few different loaves of bread there yesterday. I like them all, very good bread. I like the price too. Friendly and helpful staff answered all my questions. I am glad to have a nice bakery nearby now, I just moved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in for some bread and overheard the owner verbally abusing a young employee, telling her that he doesn't allow bakers to call in sick or get injured etc. I believe his name was Warren? This man should not be allowed to run a business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I usually like going to COBS bread and I also enjoy their food but today was different. I went to COBS wanting to get 6 pieces of scone but the guy behind the counter only gave us four, I would assume that he was not paying attention to what I was telling him. He did not clarify the order and he also gave us the smallest piece of scone (the strawberry passion fruit scone); we payed 2.70 for it and not asking for it for free.
